Twin Rune no longer active

Have any of the other long-time players noticed that they'd deactivated the Rune which gave 20% chance of either four extra standard animals or a randomly selected breeding animal. I noticed it earlier in the week, when I was getting just the one fraternal twin and in at least one case only a 'twin' of a single standard animal. I haven't had one skip either - which is yet another backward step. It makes one of my favourite events less enjoyable.

It doesn't seem to have been announced and they've reworded the announcements to read 'one fraternal twin', which I suppose is their way of saying - we're going to reduce what you get. In the interests of the players - of course.

Seriously, was this a necessary change, or just one of those things BP thinks it can get away with, if nothing is said by the PTB.

Or, is it just a temporary glitch and I'm a paranoid little bunny, suspecting BP of nefarious doings, when they are entirely innocent..................

 

Well, I didn't pay close attention to the breeding results, but I am sure the rune hasn't been deactivated. I did sometimes get 4 beavers back (instead of the two that can come from BBD) and I am sure I sometimes got an extra breeding animal. I can't really say anything more specific though since I didn't write anything down.

As for the rewording of the announcement, I think that is a good thing, after all, it is fraternal twins we have been getting all along (at least as long as I have played). So to make that clearer in the announcement is just positive in my opinion.
