Unity vs client?

    I've been using flash mostly but some unity with a fast internet. I've had problems but at least I've been able to play. However, I'm leaving my fast internet in a couple weeks for an internet that even flash had a little trouble with. 50kbs per hour was not that unusual. I am able to watch netflix with it. I have a mac, but can log out and log back in to get to windows.

    I was thinking that I might be able to use client on the slow internet through the Windows side to do some once a day harvesting. Does client load up ok with a slow internet? I am thinking I may have to give up the game for a couple months.
