Unlocking magical stalk row

I have earned a few stalk row from previous events but I still can't use them as I have not completed the last 3 levels of the quest that requires hungry bat, wild boar and flaming steer.

I tried purchasing them but the prices are sky high. And it takes too long and resources to actually breed them as I have not unlock bat breeding in moonlight mania. So for the experienced players here, share your ways to unlock row or perhaps a few suggestions will be handy. Thanks

 

Not sure I count as an experienced farmer, but there are some tree fruit that sell for "insane amounts", if you can sell some of those you might earn enough quickly. I did that with my bats. I'm in the same boat as you. But the pigs and cows I decided to wait and try to breed during baby boom. Perhaps buying lower level of breeding animals could help. Hi FarmerDelight! I well remember how long it took to open the clouds, uggh! One thing you can do is buy a breeding animal from the Tree of Wisdom rune (the one with the lady bug on it) with stars. You can get a Flaming Steer, tho I can't remember for sure what it cost but 55 stars seems to stick in my memory. The hungry bat is the biggest hang-up, because of the need to either have bat breeding open or purchase in market. With the 4 day MM coming up in a few days, maybe you'll be able to open it then? Otherwise, just keep watching the market, is the only advice I can think to offer, and hope for good skips during BBD.

Excellent advice, Moraine, with tree fruit prices being so crazy right now, it's a good opportunity to make some easy CC, and chickens are still one of my favorite CC makers. Just be careful not to short yourself too much on the fruit, especially Baha fruit, as it is rumored to be needed in upcoming event. And buying lower level breeding animals is also a great idea, as it saves PF. I always check the price of the next highest animal to make sure it's not cheaper just to buy one of it and not 4 of the other, tho. So if, for example, brown bats are going for 25,000 CC and hungry bats are 90,000, I'd buy the hungry bat since it would cost me 10,000 CC more to get enough browns to breed a hungry. And sometimes you can actually get higher breeding animals at less cost than the next lowest level - some time ago I was buying furry bats for 1/2 the price of hungry bats.
