Unlocking Vending Machines

I currently have cleared Square 5 (Penguin Blunder) but cannot open Square 11 right below it. The requirements are 10 ski poles and it says I have 92. What's the problem?

 

The above post is my main farm but I have the same problem on this one. Square 22 (25 SSG) has been cleared but I cannot open Square 21 (vending machine) even though I have enough ski poles. Is there some other square that I have to open first? Neither squares say that they require anything other than 10 ski poles.

I have already refreshed my computer and it still does not let me open the squares with vending machines.

They do not show the green "unlock" button when I click on them but they have requirements of 10 ski poles with a lock in the description.

 

In zone 1
In order to unlock vending machine in square 11 you need to first collect the blue shovel in square 30
In order to unlock vending machine in square 21 you need to first collect the red shovel in square 10
In order to unlock vending machine in square 24 you need to first collect the purple shovel in square 2
The colored shovels remove the corresponding snowmen that are in the way.
