Announcement Update on languages in FARMERAMA

Dear players,

We would hereby like to inform you that we will soon no longer offer a localized version of FARMERAMA in the following languages: Finnish and Norwegian. ​

We will instead switch the standard language to English. The change will happen gradually, meaning that for a limited time these players will see a mix of English and Finnish/Norwegian until the change has been completed. ​

As we already know, our players in Finland and Norway have a very good command of English, hence we have come to the conclusion that changing the game language permanently to English will not considerably reduce the gameplay experience for these players. Instead, it will allow us to simplify localization efforts and enable us to work a bit faster on translation topics.​

Your game account can of course still be accessed as usual and you can still enjoy playing FARMERAMA as you know it today. The only change for the players will merely be that the game language for those who play in Finnish and Norwegian will be changed.

What will happen to all the quests and items that I have and in which language will I see them?
After the change has happened and the above mentioned languages have been discontinued, your account will have English as a default language if your previous language setting was Finnish or Norwegian.​

Why are you making these changes?
We have too few players in certain countries and to smoothen our production we decided to discontinue these languages and focus on the other language communities.

When will this change be implemented?
We expect to gradually start the transfer from Norwegian and Finnish to English in the course of November. During the transfer phase, these players will experience a mix of Norwegian/English and Finnish/English. The entire transfer will be completed some time in November.​
