I opt for opening the tiles in sequence is the best way. Opening 1&2 on the first turn, 3&4 on the second turn and so on. Note down the character on each position and soon enough pairs can be made. Played 5 games, managed to have it done with 11 turns once, all others were 12-15 turns, earned 212 Star Coins so far.

o_Oooh.............. I'm so jelly you got to see Prince in concert!!!! :music:I was and am still a huge fan of his. :inlove:
So sad he is no longer with us!
I had a really long, awful day.....so haven't gotten much farming done. I'm doing a new approach(for me anyway).....I didn't take any of my trees out. I get so tired of taking them out/ putting them back. Plus I just had put them on my fields from last events. Hopefully will help with drops!
I think I'm going to dig up my old mini erase board(that I bought just for this game) to help me with the matching. My memory is shot....so I'm hoping this helps.
Good luck to everyone......may the fingerless gloves be a plenty! ;)

    Hi
What a day i had in RL yesterday  Back to Farmerama world. I think i only got about 150 Fingerless Gloves on initial harvest, I had the Arboretum, Manufactory and Menagerie plus All workshops 36 hour ones plus Trees.

It just proves we get better drops using Rose Hips, Foxtail Millet on 1x1 Fields. I got too many of these crops as i need workshops for quests. It helps to grow stuff for quests at same time to help have ahead start to get good drops too. :p

As i got 50 Fingerless Gloves from Valentine Calendar too. I am getting on average about 47 Drops on three fields of Fox Gloves. So far only 350 Fingerless Gloves. I too feeling duped by BP that drop rate is below far. As these event suppose to be easy. :p

If we gonna grow Fingerless Gloves, constantly over next few days we will fall behind our daily drops needed to be on target to complete this event. Forget the Idea to play in excess 20+ Mini Games,

Initially we need 1400 Drops - 50[Valentine Calendar] - 70[Free Mini Game] = 1280 Drops - 200 Drops on Initial Harvest = 1080 remaining needed if your shortfall is less than 200 add it to 1080 then divide it by 6 that would mean we need on average 180 Drops per day.

But we can harvest 6 times a day, working through the night to keep Idle time little as possible. I will try to grow as many event crops while +1 is running not yet won any extra harvest on the Wheel yet. :sleepy:

So i going to change my game plan to grow Sweet Woodruff as overnight crop. we are suppose to get really good drops from Event Crops. But i am curious we might get better drops with normal farming crops. But it is up to you Fellow farmers to your game plan as we get excellent EP from Fox Gloves, which can be enhanced using a Super Event Booster Buff gives 100% EP + ZAB 60%;)

What is BP playing at duping us again, giving us poor drops for event crops for failed to mention giving us better drops on normal farming crops with Event FAQ. As this event suppose to be set as EASY what a joke. What about all our lovely Newbies Farmers, Ranting Ranting on Poor Drops, Guess what even High Level Farmers Ranting also at poor drops too.

Harvest 6 times a day, working through the nighto_O That is dedication and FOCD at its finestxD I went to bed instead. :pMy growing strategy is the same as usual....event crop during the day and longer stuff overnight timed to be ready when I normally log in in the mornings. My drops are ahead of my crops so I can mill 3 games each time I harvest. That will change tomorrow when the bonus runs out. I didn't get any farmwheel bonus to add to it so will just have slow and steady pace. I'm on track to easily finish the 20 games. How many more will I do? I don't know right now. I do know that I feel stressed if I try to do the extras that take the full amount of time and then a new event begins. I didn't do the Carnival queen much beyond the required games for the cloud row except used up the free baskets I caught. Perhaps that hurt my farm on the farm coins but I just am too tired to keep going. I think players will easily reach 20 games in this event but depending on how much you would like from the shop will determine how much more you will need to do.

Good luck! For those of you who a lot of energy and focus, send a little my way:pxD Not even caffeine or a nap has cleared the cobwebs. :(

Pups, and everybody else: We play to have fun. Some have great fun in optimizing their farm for whatever their goals (like EP), others just find that stressful. I don't care so much about optimizing at all, me personally just happy to finish events and everything else just goes steady one way or the other. I like forward the best, but that isn't always the case xD

I'll follow pups strategy, just not timing anything :pLonger at night, event during day. Goal : CR. Beyond that I'm not fussed.

I'm with you Pups and Moraine. Two harvests of event crops, one to the time I have overnight and so far I have played five mini games. After less than 24 hours, I'm happy with that. If I feel the drops are dropping behind (pun intended), I will switch to a longer crop overnight but for now Wild Strawberries suits me - anyone want to guess which FSQ I'm working on! :p

Trying hard to work the farm round real life these days instead of the other way round, far less stressful! :music:

But I have been off all week and go back on Saturday so this event was just right for me - and I do like the mini event. Especially since somebody mentioned that it wasn't timed! I play another similar game, with lots more pairs - :wuerg: - that is timed, so this one feels like a breeze! :inlove:

Count me among those in the more relaxed farming club.:) Too much going on in RL -so virtual farming must take a back seat.
I'm getting three event crops harvests, plus a long crop; hope that will do for the CR.

Best of luck to all participating!:D

Drop rat is playing with us again!-.- Higher is a relative term & what is higher to BP is not higher to the players!!! :(
After my usual overnight harvest of refined raspberries I received 60-70 drops per field vs 50-60 I normally receive. So higher, yes. BUT the milling requirement of 70 drops per glove is MUCH higher than usual event. o_O Only 20 games needed to achieve CR vs 36 last event, but event crop & drop needed are greater per mini-game. Net effect fewer games but event crops & drops requirements are in the same range as most events! If BP really wanted to make this an easy event, let drops come from Baha & Rainforest too! Or reduce milling requirement to 50 drops per glove. :D And if BP doesn't tell us the drops will be higher, player expectations won't be raised then upset when there really is no effective difference. -.-

I've played 8 games and I've yet to break the 12 barrier. I'm really good at these types of things so I do think luck is the only way you will get below 12. If they start repeating patterns it may also be possible if you kept track you could get it first go round.

I haven't refined raspberries yet, well more actual is partially refined. I am growing raspberries at night and event crop during day. So far, fingers toes and anything else crossed, drops are ahead of crops, but not by much. Played a total of 5 games. -.-

At this rate I will finish when Cupig has emptied his quiver.

Thank You Habalala, this works best for my game. I'm getting 42 coins per game.My drops seem to have become less. I was able to mill one glove per harvest, but not this last one. Glad we have a week to play. :inlove: Thank You MARLYMAR, Cinster and everyone for all the help. Good Luck to everyone with this game. :inlove:

Trial and error, Ive found Spelt to be the best for drops for me.

Well done to those who can compete games with the least moves. I done 3 games writing position down of characters on each occasion it took 12 moves following Habalala's welcome advise

Not sure how helpful this will be but it has helped me get 45 coins. I have played 8 boards using characters. The bottom right corner has been the same character all 8x. Other characters change positions but usually never more than 1 space (in any direction). If you chart as you play you too might be able to judge where the matches will be. Its not a perfect way, I have only received 45 coins 2 out of the 8 boards but 2 is better than none I suppose :). Good luck to all!

I know I won't get the cloud row at this rate. I need 910 drops to finish. I wasn't able to get enough drops from harvest to make one glove. My trophies are at 16%. It takes forever to do the crop/tree fruit trophy after level 10. :sleepy:

I will go as far as I can though. The givers are cool though, at least the one I do have, lol. :p
