I agree lilDomi, unless the drops pick up I don't think I'll get very far either. I'll just go as far as I can & hope 750 crops/70 drops is not the new norm.

I don't feel comfortable doing that yet PeepsCA. I'm a newish player so I don't expect to finish events & wouldn't want to take away from people who are at a level to finish but are falling short. I have some great neighbors that give me lots of help & I'm lucky for that. I do however think the drop rate is horrible. After harvesting 3 lands & not being able to make 1 glove is a let down...for me anyway. I can be hard to please sometimes

 

Just a little thought - if you have all the crops but are struggling at the end for perhaps about 100 to 150* drops and there are 20 hours or more on the clock, try putting trees on the three fields. You can do this in even less time if you have lots of super mulch.

I accidentally activated a 48 hour harvester on one of my "gift only'' farms (hadn't quite woken up yet) which is covered in trees - just in case I feel the need to harvest or I win a +200% harvest/EP on the wheel . I got 155* drops!

My LL is at maximum but even so, I consider that a good rate.

I do have a theory - the longer something is in the ground before harvesting, the more drops ... it's just a theory and I haven't had my second cuppa yet so it's not a given!

16 games played (thanks to +1 bonus on Valentine's calendar and 200% on farmwheel). Now crops exceed drops so have planted just 2 fields of event crops and one field in a longer grow for FSQ.

13 games played on BW and also now waiting on drops.

Thanks Cinter for the tips about the game board. My bottom character is always the hamster However, the most coins per round I get is 42 coins with an occasional 41. Makes no difference if I do it on paper or by memory.

I like the new mini game. It is different, a bit challenging to my cobwebby brain, but not hard. I did try the backgrounds and found that I really do not do well with those

 

Started playing the game. At last my internet problem was solved. But near;y 24 hrs went waste. Couldn't login. + 1 & harvester went waste. Atleast the weed aspect was removed from the game. That saved my crops from turning into weed. So far played 9 games. Drops seems to be a problem. I too could not beat the less the 11 clicks.

 

I played 13 games this morning and got 42 coins for 12 games, 41 coins for 1 game. I'm happy with that While I was playing the games I thought "This is sooo nice!! No clock to have to beat" Made a graph and keep track of the animals, then erase it after each game. I see some are keeping track much better than I am. As long as I can get 42 coins per game. I'm not going into that much detail. I'll be going down to my daughters to babysit Sat. afternoon into Sun so long crops will be planted then. Have fun everybody!!

I scored 10 on one and got the 45 coins. They do repeat patterns and if you keep track you can determine which pattern it is.

Yeah I popped in when I discovered one of my spaces always being the same. Maybe it could help others save a step to get the 45 coins.

I'm normally not a big chatter...unless I'm bugging my neighbors with endless questions so I don't post often.

All these is prompting me to make a chart & see how many patterns are being repeated.

 

I have played 15 memory games so far. I have grown enough Foxgloves for the remaining of this event. Many thanks for +1 from Valentine Giver

Now i have upped my ante to get as many drops as i can, either put out Turnips or Workshops and Trees to work on Quests. But i found i can get Turnips down to 7hr 40m using buffs from 19hr 30m. Plus i used +1 Veg Cloud Row too.

No way i can use Buffs on workshops that can be reaped under 8 Hours on workshops that takes either 36 Hours or 32 hours. As farmers have posted to claim to get better drops from Crops than workshops, even using Manufactory wont make a huge difference as Manufactory only benefit from limited amounts of Buff that reduce workshop times, which also therefore takes longer to reap event drops. As only one thing can speed up workshops it Power Feeds.

With either you choose Backgrounds the bottom right is always Peach or if you choose Characters it always an Hamster, we have to work out other three corners they do alternate per mini game, But there is a pattern but which one lol Thanks Cinster for the tip

 

I could make only one chart. I don't have drops to make more special gloves. I will update as soon as I make them and play more games.

I don't know about anyone else, but I am bored out of my mind with this mini game. Still need 7 games to get CR. High drop rate my paw. Don't mind me, got woke up before done hibernating, and am a little grumpy, lol.

 

I do think the drop rate is fairly high.

I've done 22 games here x 70 drops per game is 1540 which is a lot over the course of an event but this event is only just a little more than 3 days in. That is a lot of daily drops. The issue is the amount needed per game. I have the cloud row but would still need additional games in order to get stables, trees, PF, farm coins from the shop.

I like these events where you can do as much or as little as you like, but for me, I like additional prizes along the way in an event besides just the grand finale of a cloud row. So...more games are needed. I do think the drop rate appears skewed as well because of the bonus +1 from the calendar. Crops were grown quickly and out paced drops. It is typical to be waiting on one or the other.

With other events coming up soon, I want to get this one done so I can go back to farming instead of eventing

 

I agree - this is a total snoozefest. I gave up growing event crops for 24 hours and got enough drops for almost 5 gloves so growing some more event crops to use up the remaining 2 I didn't have crops for and then I'll see if I'll bother with more. Maybe drops first then crops as strategy is the way to go to finish. If not - shrug.

 

I am soooooooooooo bored! Waiting on drops which despite being advertised a high, I'm not really seeing it. LL maxed out and for event crops on 1x1 I've been getting about 14, which is not great since my green beans gave me 21! Just planted sweet clover so I can harvest in the morning - let's see what a 20hr crop will do for me.

 

One of the hamsters is always the last one on the right side. It's the only pattern in all the games: I've done 17 so far. I'm extremely bored too!

 

20 games done, CR up and running, 833 Star Coins earned (avg 42.65 per game) and the event runs for another 3.5 days... I'll resume with normal farming. Depending on the amount of drops gathered I'll grow a field or two with event crops inbetween. *yawn*
