Viking Saga: Target Practic -- Strategy Thread

How long does it take to the comic #1 event? I've never tackled the comics. And I assume the 3 hours starts as soon as you win it?

 

I'm ALL in with this event ill be saving gifts until tomarrow after event starts

 

I went thru it in a minute, (each time), but I already had all the animals, tree fruits and crops in my barn that it asked for. You can go back n forth from the comic to the seed shop and the market if you need to buy what it asks for (hopefully you have the CCs).

With Comic #1 - the harvester functions do all start the minute you choose that as your prize option. I've gone through it several times myself when I've been desperate...doesn't seem to matter where you get the crops so get them wherever it's cheapest if you don't have them in the barn (the wheat icon under the red shopping basket - it's only 100 a day, but sometimes it's way cheaper than what they're selling for on the market).

 

That's why I mentioned the seed shop... it's been ages since either of my 2 farm's markets have had anything listed cheaper than the 100 seeds/per day we have available to us at the seed shop prices. Can't count on the comic crop requirements being 100 or less per crop asked for tho, everything has varied each time I've done them...

This is a repeat of viking event we had back in called Viking Saga Volume 3. It is the 4th Time, we had this kind of Event. For Those who done this event before. As most of you already have done. It is is no different to the Strategy to this event, from the last Event.

Except that we only need 35 Drinking Horns for each Viking Broth, compared to 50 Drinking Horns. But Each Viking Broth needs 500 Golden Roots, compared to 470 Golden Roots. Therefore we going to need to Grow more Golden Roots.

In each Mini Game, we can win up to 50 Farm Coins. Depending on our Luck. Each Farm will have it own Target of what to hope to Get from Farm Coins Store. But only need 30 Viking Broth of Cloud Row. 40 Viking Broth for Megalitic Game Giver

I will be starting a day late as I am working till 9.00 tonight - I had to send out my gifts earlier too.
I will be going for (at least) the 40 attempts, not for any other reason that I want lots of things from the gift choices!

I have a few days off so I should be able to get going pretty well but it all depends on my choices of axe parts. The only good thing is that the axe hilt should be a definite each time - there are only five to choose from so eventually we should be able to get one aspect right for each axe!

Initial drop 167, I do wonder if that was a bit on the low side.
Oh well Hey Hoo here we go!

 

208 drops. 2 fields of 2x2 rose hips, Magical glade all pens including menagerie and manufactory, 2 fields Baha melons, 1 from magic tree, one gift. (Trophies maxed on LL rune, 2 howies in glade only.)

 

If it is of any use as a comparison, I got 258 drops from two fields of 1x1 turnips with a few trees scattered around the the outsides, a field of pens (mostly chameleon, bee and frog upgrades plus a few workshops) with a few turnips on the odd spare 1x1s and on Baha a field and two thirds of the other in 1x1 watermelons with the rest in pens, trees etc

 

ok morning harvest 138 on rye an honey dew, not so good will try something else to find the sweet spot. keep the #'s comming

 

Only 82 Drinking Horns for me. 2 fields (meadow & glade) of 1x1 Iris' with outlining trees, main is mostly stalls/workshops with outlining trees. Baha (main and rain forest) mostly Jovellana 1x1s and some outlining trees (plus 2 stalls). 82 drinking horns total from all.

Not very good -- but used the longest crops I have.

ETA: Keep in mind, we only need about HALF of what we needed in the last event, so the drop rate will probably be lower.

 

I got 126 from 2 fields of Rose hips and 2 fields of Physalis lots of trees and 4 magic trees and that's from completed trophies

Would sooner have all the things back that i donated ...because I think I wasted my time completing that to get pittance for drops EVERY event

 

196 drops for me..all 5 fields with 20 hrs trees and animal pens...Free try (Hit bulls eye in 2nd attempt)
