Viking Saga: Target Practic -- Strategy Thread

After playing 40 games I had 1956 SC, went to the shop and bought all wonder thinggies, PF, SG, SSG and party spins and sticker. In fact the goodies I wanted from this event. To my suprise these only costs 1820 SC and now I have a surplus of 131 coins!

I have no room and no use for the GB, Stars, coupons or PPP, already have all the stables on offer and now .. yeah right .. I'm really thinking to go ahead and aim for the pink farm design. Useless too, I know, but hey, a change of layout every now and then might be plain fun. I must be nuts when I actually do so.

Drat. I love the mini game. Hard to resist not playing more! Got a thrill when I had a bullseye on the very first attempt. Didn't happen to me in all previous Ingrid training sessions.

Hmm.. I too am short of crops. Yay for the BP team for flipping the demands! Finally not a single complaint about the drop rate to be found anywhere!

Signing off with a big cheer to all who is still in training ... Grow, harvest, mill, aim.. throw!

 

Thanksgiving cooking gets in the way sometimes -- left my crops idle and ready to harvest for over an hour.

The drops haven't been very good on the event crops for me, and unless that changes, I should get the CR in the morning (after my long crops). Happy to get that.

I'll have enough crops to go all the way to the top, but not enough drops. Would have loved to go higher and get more coins to spend, but I'm pleased they didn't make the CR the very top (like they usually do).

 

I had that this morning with login ...tried all different browsers ...that didn't help says it was something to do with the net... well it wasn't my net ....that was fine

Now need 297 drinking horns to get and I should have everything ... and can start playing the event hopefully

 

i have played some games and have to say .... it makes no sense at all... i think it is cheating.... you can get 3 circles on a round head but yet a flat one gives you 5?? i mean when it favors a round and you use up all your choices and yet it wants a flat one... with like 4 flat/pointy ones to choose from.... im sorry but i feel lost and let down... to top it off... i cant even perfect my axe... the game stops at times and i have more throws left.... i hate ending with a item that has 4 circles... i want 5 5 5 circles... before the game says i have a perfect axe when i dont..

 

Jazac, I think the game works like this. You are heading for a zone rather than a perfect point.

The Bullseye zone accepts these combinations: 5 5 5, 5 5 4.5, 5 5 4, in any order.

Also, the best combinations are different in every game, they are shuffled around. So what works in one game will be different in the next.

At least that's how I understand it. Hope that helps!

yes thank you very much i am starting to see this.... i was trying to look up what i found the other day explaining the shapes but today i cant seem to find it.... did read alot about what you said about each one has a value of points... But i would've thought for sure it went by the shape.... least that's what i was trying to do... yes i know it changes each game.... but like the head.... there's a curve head and a pointed head.. and not sure if or what the 3rd option of the head is....the runes i cant make out at all...lol and i think that's what is messing me up is the runes.... but here is the pages i been at....

any how.... the head i come close with them pictures and shapes they are.... the runes is different as cant make heads or tails if it wants the points... letters.. or symbols....lol i mean i cant get close to knowing what is and isnt....lol

well at least i am trying to figure this out... did get a few 50 coins.... got all attempt prizes except the first one....i may not get that one....UPDATE i played 23 games before i stopped.... got to annoyed by it....lol

yes game is messing up i got booted yet again....

 

Hmmm...can't get in to plant my long crops for overnight. Hope I still make it.

EDIT: well i cant do anything so i am gonna lay down... took me awhile to get in last time and now it booted me.... so might as well rest.... hopefully in a few hours i can get in and do something...

 

I'm back in but I don't think for long the game still isn't working right I sure hope they get this fixed soon and hopefully they will extend the event for us all I need to harvest my long crops in 2 hrs then I should have the last 7 broths I need to get the last giver then after that ill try to keep going to get more coins to get more prizes from the shop

 

all i know is they owe me and everyone at least 4hr's machine time. for God sakes leave the wire's alone, there a lot of farmers fighting to get threw this one . me i'm fine i just want whats mine nothing else.

 

Wow, when I was able to go online this afternoon I found log on problems! I see from all the comments that it went on for some time. Eek! Hope everyone is able to catch up from the game problems.

Just got into the game a few minutes ago and have some happy news -- I need just 204 drops and 6800 crops to finish!

Oh, forgot about the machines. I used my last FSQ reward to get the harvest helper for today (purchased some products at the market to get it). The rest of the FSQ harvester quest rewards I'm not even close to, so that was my last harvester for awhile.

It's still good till the morning, but I don't plan on staying up all night and it wasn't much use today with the game down.

On a good note -- my CR just went up! I'd like to get more coins and get further along (have enough crops to finish, but no drops), but with today being a write-off with the game down, not sure how high I'll get now. Would have liked to purchase a couple more things.

I had got enough drops, only need to grow event crop 5000 for the last 10 broth.
If the game had not broke down twice, I will finished today, but now,I may need
1more day for crop growing, yes, as usual, I do not torn my field for full event crop
grow.With CAC, I still could catch up.otherwise, I may really need to clear my field.
Hope that not much farmer affect by the game down.

Got the crops in and the milling started. Hope there are no problems tomorrow so I can finish.

just completed my 30 games.... got CR up and running...working on crops for the last 10 can make 4 now... if the game stays on i should finish tommrow all 40 games...

 

The wife is finished with cloud row up and collecting.

I've got the cloud row up and collecting! But lack 10 games of finishing the event. Waiting on drops don't cha know.
Just re-read this and find it a bit misleading. I have 9 broths ready. Just need 33 more drops for the tenth broth and will be able to finish the event.

I have 1501 star coins saved up thus far. Have no clue what I'll be spending them on. I've looked the list over several times and still can't decide what I want.
