Viking Saga: FAQ

Starts: Wednesday, 16th of January at 14:00
Ends: Wednesday, 30th of January at 14:00
Difficulty: Depending on Players involvement

You will need to collect Viking Broths from the parallel Events.
Earn Viking Broths by participating in the following Events.

• The Temple of Serpents
• Polar Party
• Birthday Hullabaloo

You need 40 games to get CR.

10 Viking Broths in all in the Polar Party.
10 Viking Broths in The Temple of Serpents.
So need 20 broths in the quest Birthday Event.

Runs 16 january - 30 january

Requirement for givers and CR = 40 mini games played.
Each mini game requires 1 Viking Broth

No crop growing, no drops, no milling, no gifting.

Earn Viking Broths by participating in the following Events:

• • The Temple of Serpents
  • Polar Party
  • Birthday Event

Yup, there is no other way to obtain Viking Broth. If you wish to participate in this event you're forced to do other events.

From 16 january - 21 january:
Completing the Temple of Serpents event in full provides 10 Viking Broth
Completing the Polar Party event in full provides 10 Viking Broth

From 23 january - 30 january:
Completing the Hidden Object Birthday event - No info, FAQ not posted yet

thanks for opening the thread.
I don't know whether I should praise BP for design a event which doing that event need to do other 3 event first. Or should I be upset for such design!
If buyer want to take part in this event:
BP Force player to do 2 event whole to get the stuff that needed in another event!
And the qty is only half of requirement!
This event need 40 viking Broth to get the CR.
And We all know if player want to get those prize in event shop. Player may need to play
more than 40games. So, We need to put all the hope on the last event: Birthday event
& wish it will give more than 20 Viking Broth.
Is that ridiculous!
such unkown factor in future.

decent cloud row. Hoping for good broth bonuses from the other events. I guess they let us rest up and now they are pummeling us with 3 events at once! yay? not.

 

Someone please help this confused brain. Which event is the Birthday Event? I have read FAQ's twice and keep missing it. Thanks!!

 

The Birthday Event FAQ hasn't been posted yet. I was looking for it too.

 

I don't know, but I presume, it is starting AFTER the polar bear event

23rd - 30th January: Hidden Object Birthday Event
FAQs are usually published the day before an event, so I would expect we would know more about it on the 22nd

 

I am truly about Viking Saga 7 and I'm actually able to quantify how much ~ 33 %

So how about the other 77% …. hmmm?

Color me !!!!

When I first read the FAQs and the threads here in the Forum, I thought, "Okay, for the 1st time ever, I'll actually pay real $ to buy my way through. Oh no ~ BP is having none of that! I can only buy 2 baskets ONE time each & would only get 8 Broths. I really think that the precursor to this current predicament was when BP started having "Companion Quests" quite awhile back. And somehow, this has given birth to a 3 headed monster {pun definitely intended}.

Therefore, the "strategy" is to devote resources to other events OR I get nothing! How ~edit~ is that Fun????
There are few Events that I look forward to such as this. I saw it on the Calendar & literally giggled with happiness. Not at all happy now.

Three events and I have full time work. I dunno about this....
So, to finish the Viking Saga you're basically hostage to the other two is that right?

Part of me wants to sleep through the whole thing. I've got 180 cloud rows, what am I thinking?

 

Not quite. To other three actually, the last of which we have no idea what it entails yet.

 

After reading the announcement from today, I am NOT wondering any more, why BP is trying to kill Farmerama and annoy their players.
A new farm game is coming... and they really believe, that I am spending money on that new one?????

Thank you Sahra, Habalala and everyone. I too was very disappointed, especially at best, there are 10 broths I will not get. Then I looked at the star prizes, and realized I really want that pink goose stable. It will look so cute on my farm, then I realized I can use baby boom to make one. Now if only Ingrid would stop playing with Thor's hammer. LoL. Good Luck everyone, with whatever you do.

 

Sighhhhh.....Once again I am locked out of finishing events. What is the point of all the sacrifice to do them then??

As I've already had to miss the first day of these concurrent events, and will miss more due to RL - BP has already spoiled half the fun of Farmerama. WTG, BP........IF you want to ruin this game - as was also suggested.

Clonahmon also made a good point.


Stretch a good thing (events) into infinite impossibility with regard to RL and....they just might disappear!

finsihed the present two event and had 20broth on hand,
But I will not play any mini games until I get the last event FAQ.
To play the mini games need quite a time.
I need to know all the information if I could finished this event.
If the birthday event only give 20broths.
I should consider whether I will do this event or not!

 

Here I'am 15 hours to go and suffering through drops of straws 8 and 12 for having trees and pens set out. I have 100 more to finish the seventh task and not certain if I'll finish even this. As a measure of protest I am not spending any money on any of these three; lumped together to bewilder a player into confusion of choices. This may have been an attempt at a challenge for long term players, but for me; it's been a bad experience. 5 days of no rhyme or reason for the drops...and whats the point of having 300+ hours for V7 if all the pieces depend on the other two at 5 days? So you can stare at it longer because its not finished? One more nail....
