Viva Piñata!

I think we need Tree fruit from 50 trees for silver level. Tree fruit from 75 trees for Gold level. Tree fruit from 100 trees for Diamond level. I put 50 of each tree on main farm to try to help me remember not to click all at one time. Then put 75 of each one out on other fields. This will allow me to work on animals while doing other quest on other 4 fields. Now to figure out how to do the animals. All this makes growing and throwing seem easy.

 

Okay, prepped as I'm gonna get . Think I'll head to the market for a bit, then log out to keep from accidentally harvesting workshops I already have ready for tomorrow. Have a great day everyone, I'll be keeping an eye on all the great ideas here, even if I'm not posting. habalala, I rather agree with you about the mini quest, but will still try for it here on spots. bearbabe will skip it, and mini me will probably skip entire event, make CCs instead. Well it is Farmerama's 8th birthday and like any other 8 year old they know no limits on what to ask for

 

habalala, where are the extra 5280 lollipops used? I only see the 3520 for character 1 on your wonderful chart.

 

Joan it's character 3 that also can take lollipops. Although I don't see a requirement for paper flowers listed either. I think at this point I'm just starting to confuse myself though.

 

Thank you joanc for pointing out that flaw. At some point I switched the used event crop on character #4 but forgot to adjust the totals. Done so now.

See.. working all together makes the party fun even when it hasn't started yet!

@LDCrow as stated I'll go for the shortest timed event crops and thus skip growing the 8hr paper flowers. It is an option to use those thou, all depends on your personal preferences.

 

I can only dip in and out, missed short time quest requirements and can't find them and haven't a clue how to set up.
Sorry, I work my virtual farm by building up stocks when I can, throwing stuff or growing crops but my rl tax returns have made me miss how I need to set up.

habalala made a great chart for the Birthday event.

 

I've think I got it now. You are using all the shorter timed crops and only using one per character. I'm finally beginning to see the light on this one.

I'm currently growing peppermint to be followed by peas, hops and orchids. I have enough of them but not without seriously depleting my stock so if I can get ahead that would be good.

I've not decided about the nostalgia mini event yet. Doesn't seem worth it but by FOCD is telling me I should at least try. I just really hate timed events. I still have some of the timed FSQ's I haven't bothered to finish yet.

 

Thank you to all who have contributed to figuring the crop requirements. I've been gone most of the day and trying to get a strategy mapped out. I don't know where you see in the FAQ which crops give 2 or 3 steps. Without knowing which ones are 2 steppers and which ones are 3 steppers, I don't see how a tally can be made.

In regards to the short timed quest, I actually laughed out loud for the timed section needing goat milk. My farms do not have enough goat milk trees to do fill that requirement so I will need to use goat dairies.....except I have none as I put them on the train! Now I will have to build workshops to replace what was once 'worthless.'

 

Pnp, we are assuming that the highlighted crop in each chart, the one in the 3rd place, is the crop that gives 3 steps. That would mean the other 2 would give two.

 

Thank you for the clarification LDCrow. Perhaps I missed that while I was reading the thread. I have a cold and with that comes a bad headache that means I miss things.

I also out of habit put out long crops for 'event preparation' though we don't have to worry about drops instead of putting out the necessary trees and workshops. I'm starting off very well and the event has not even begun At this point, I may fall off the tractor and just lie in the field watching the clouds go by and occasionally hope to see a butterfly

 

ok i think i missed enough events... been away from game long enough... i started last event to miss out on it... but i am all in this one..

ok for those who is showing more crops needed then whats in these pictures.. has me lost and i am sure got alot of others lost as well.




in this picture i see to get to level 12 you will need

1200 Peonies
4800 Sunflowers
1800 Orchids

Not counting event crops... or lack of steps we can skip if any ( but been reading we can).. but MOST we will need is those numbers there and we will be DONE with the CAT.

EDIT: I would like to also add a note to the steps we need as to per level and don't understand that one bit. So maybe this has us all messed up as it has me confused big time... as if we donated 200 Peonies , 800 Sunflowers and 300 Orchids on level 1. That is supposed to get us to level 2.

 

Just a reminder the FSQ Farm Nostalgia ENDS 2 days before the Birthday event! So plan accordingly.

 

@Jazac You have to complete the chart each time you level up. So if you complete each chart one time for each character you will have finished level 1 and receive the 1st giver.

That's what the assumption is anyway and where everyone is getting the high numbers of crops from.

 

I'm hoping that the Nostalgia quest is like other quests. Meaning....I can do the silver levels up until #6 and then do all silver, gold and diamond to get the Nostalgia Film giver item. Do any of you see it this way too?

pnp - I'm so sorry you have a cold. I'm having difficulty deciding on my strategy and I supposedly have all my mental capacity. I can't imagine trying to sort all this out with a cold. I pray you feel better very soon!!!

 

Ah heck! now it makes sense!
There are 12 Levels each requiring 12 steps.
If you look at Post #34 by dafodily Request 1 donations moves you one step, Request 2 donations move you two steps, R3 moves you 3 steps.

This definitely makes the event HARD and a barn burner!
Not sure I want to do all that. RL is more important.
I was in a hurry to get things done before my ride got here this morn. I think I managed to get 50 of each tree planted. I had to buy some. Might have miss calculated...

I need to deal with RL right now and try to calm down.
I've had a very frustrating day since my last post and now I NEED to send the CEO of a certain orange box store a RANT! The employees I dealt with were as frustrated as me and told me to do so. That's how bad things were. It shouldn't be so difficult to give someone a truckload of money.

Ask to donate (request) option 1
Ask to donate (request) option 2
Ask to donate (request) option 3
Rewards for completing the level

.. the clue is to get to 12 steps per character per level.

Request in the chart is the option given what to donate, which is not equal to the requirements for each level.
Without Bday Treat the progress is 2 steps per donation (option 1 and 2) or 3 steps (option 3), that's why we need to donate lots more as is shown..

 

i understand that... but if you look left side of that big chart i posted is the levels...NOT THE STEPS..

That right there as you have said is what is starting to look like for this event... Only problem is what is said in that BIG picture i posted. I have, well almost have all the number of crops posted in them charts for one go around... if thats times 12... I can hang this event up... as the FAQ be wrong anyway... if the chart is wrong about the crops.. so will it be with the event crops... and haven't did the math yet.. but to do each chart 12 times ,but will say to make it like that , cant be done.

ok well event starts tommrow so i will do each chart one time and then i am out... there's no way to do more..
