The tiki timer is a buff that comes from the Carousel Music Box (supergiver) and Neon Stables Magic Stalk Row 6 (CR).

    From the supergivers FAQ:

    * What is the Tiki Timer?
The Tiki Timer is a special bonus effect you collect when harvesting the Carousel Music Box. The Tiki Timer reduces the growing time of Bahamarama vegetables with 20% for 6 hours. You can activate it from the Pantry, by clicking on the Tiki Timer icon and then on the 'eating' button (the hand icon).

The Tiki Timer does not require any slot, this buff is activated in the top row of the buff window.

Tiki Timer does not work on event crops, since the event crops do not belong to any crop category.

    * Can I eat more Tiki Timers at the same time? What will be the result?
Yes, you can use more than one Tiki Timer. As a result, the time will be extended. For example, if you eat 3 Tiki Timers, you will have -20% growing time on Bahamarama vegetables for 18 hours.

    * Can the buff be extended with the Pinkie Pie pie?
No, this buff cannot be extended using Pinkie Pie pie.

A few words for this event:

[IMG] <---- I don't regret not doing this event.

People can pay 10,000 - 20,000 ccs for each manure to do an event.

This event was for the benefit of BP and manure sellers.

    Congratulations!

Well, I got up to level 69 on each side. I'm okay with that - with not spending money, with not losing sleep by waking up to harvest, with not giving in to doing anything to finish! Giving an event a try after taking some time off to just farm. Still disappointing ratio of drops - that is the main thing that held me back from completing the event. . .

Gone are the days of playing obsessively! The rewards aren't even worth that! Maybe I'll go back to replenishing my barn!

I feel I have wasted several days although I did get to level 92 on left-hand side and 91 on right-hand side. I had drops for a few more levels but could not grow enough crops. We really needed more time. What a complicated event and we still had to remember to open the boxes in Aqua Mania to do a miserable amount of fishing.

I second Nala and Farmerumf. Kinda left a bad taste, I used so many resources that I had saved up on SL's farm to get through to the end. The most upsetting thing was that the last compass to open the last bubble for the fishing event was at level 98 on the right side, so you really had to go great guns to get that.

PS - these boards keep knocking me out, so have to go back to the farm to come back and post. Not sure what's going on with that...anyway, I'm off to do the morning harvest.

I finished with a little over an hour to spare. I used one +3 plant harvest bonus (24h) from my inventory and about 900 SG + 700 SSG. Very pleased everything went according to plan. Had a lot of fun planning this one out. :)
Congrats to everyone who reached their goals and/or made it to the end! :D

I kept getting kicked off the board last night too while trying to read up @dumbunny.

Wasn't impressed with the event. A lot of real money spent, a lot of middle of the night harvesting, all my SG used and most of the SSG. Event ended with over 7000 each of anchor and thyme crops and 161 life jackets in the bank I couldn't use because I got into the second event too late because of poor drop rates, then couldn't get enough of the waterski's and knots grown to utilise the others. Got levels 71 finished on both sides. I am happy for all the wonder stables I got, I got some baha stables I don't have. Not that I can use mose of them yet because I don't have the required feed trees unlocked, or that particular wonder tree, which means I cannot buy the tree fruit in the market either. But I have them, waiting :)

@zero thanks for the tiki timer info. I did find it eventually after trolling through a ton of search results (gosh you guys say tiki timer a lot haha). I eventually happened upon a general question where the mods linked to the info.

You might not have the associated tree needed for feed but if you have the stable, you should be able to buy the feed itself in the market rather than component ingredients. :)

Very true, I looked at that first, but at approx 23,000 - 99,000 CC per single unit, I can't afford to. I will wait.
