Truly I have allowed myself to consider the feelings, thoughts, and effects on patrons of an enterprise to be acquired. True, some have very touching feelings. Players in this game are patrons, period. (Okay, okay, I'm human and will even go so far as assign several individuals to gather and summarize the information. Not forever though!) Realistically there is only the need for areas of satisfaction and dissatisfaction and liability to them. What's owed them?

You mention "freedom of speech." As a game participant here I have all kinds of positive and negative feelings and hopes. And as you say and I agree: We'll see.

Allow me to switch to another position here. I'll express exactly what I would and have expressed in RL internally to a team: I can care less about a patrons "freedom of speech" as patrons come and go. There is no need to pay more than a patron is worth to keep um. I can assure you there is a contact available to present game patrons as that part is simply routine, the whole act.

The BP enterprise as well as Fouzu is pretty smart. We have been considered and we will be. Why? The concern with patrons is their freedom of choice as there are other games to be marketed. To anyone, both organizations taken together do not have the resources or desire to take away the freedom of choice and WE have it and will keep it and they know it; this is a given. Both organizations want that credit card. Getting that credit card is not a given. (Far more to an acquisition)

This is really not going to be popular:

In reality, FARMERAMA is not the most profitable game for BP. If dividing their market into forums (which can easily be done) then one will find with no doubt that this market segment is not the most profitable one for this game. In terms of geographic regions one will find the samething.)

DB, you have been my friend since I began playing this game. I understand and deeply respect your feelings as you do mine. I'll give um a shot just as I did BP. We have freedom of choice and we are each free to use it and I will and you will too.

Is it just me, or are things already changing around here? Little things, I know, but change all the same. Normally we get the monthly preview calendar around the 28th of the month. This is 2 months running it's the end of the month and no calendar. Much of the grapevine information seems to have dried up too, despite the wonderful efforts of 12ss12 and the other rumor researchers (what ever happened to GW, haven't seen them in ages? The tower's getting in serious need of airing out). I'm sure the BP team is busy preparing for the turnover, but it would be nice if they didn't forget us in the process.

 

I agree entirely. Like you this is the only online game I play and I hope it will still remain the same.
