What animals should I breed?

When there is a baby boom event I can't decide what animals I should breed.
What animals do you suggest are better? The ones that are selling high in the market or animals for breeding quests?
Any ideas?

 

My 2 CC worth is that you should breed to support your farming goals.

Are you trying to make upgraded animal stalls?
Are you trying to complete quests?
Do you intend to sell your breeding stock to boost your CC?

The answers to the questions will tell you which animals to select for breeding

What I do: I make a plan from month to month (Baby boom to baby boom) and then use our spare farming time (non event time) to prepare for that next breeding event. I troll the market to see if I can find good bargains and I put out my pens to boost my inventory (4 animals at a time really lowers your stock in a hurry).

This last baby boom I focused primarily on the soup quest animals and bred a variety of animals with the hope of a great skip. What I did get was a good selection of L1, L2 and L3 animals to try again next time.

For selling colored animals in the market, we need to know why the players buy colored animals, it seems every bodies interest first comes to donkeys because the players want to donate to soup and friends and because thy want to build upgrades, and then Bahama animals, Pandas and Monkeys, camels still not hot I think because many people have not unlocked them yet, any way that's from my observation to the forums, my personal priorities now cows and horses because of soup and friends, I do concentrate on these, and also bread all the animals but less than those two.
