what is the remove weeds for

    I have the harvester feature, and what is the remove weeds for? I use it and seem to see no difference in anything

    Hi! I am not a mod, but I can answer your question. If you leave grown crops for more than 24 hours, they become weeds and you have to remove them. The remove weeds function allows you to clear a whole field of weeds instead of individually clicking on each plot. The FAQ is here.

    Also not a mod, but if you got a premium membership, then you automatically have no weeds. Maybe that is why you don't notice? The harvester is still definitely good for the other functions.

    Also, its 24 hours from the time the crop matures, not when you plant it. The higher you get in levels, the longer the crops take and the less likely it is you will get weeds. Eventually you will be able to use comfort fields, which extends the time even further (by the way, nothing happens when you leave animals and trees for extended periods -- good to know if you go on vacation).

    Thank you everyone for your assistance.

    Weeds will appear 24 hours after the crop has matured. One of the features of Premium membership is that your farm will be weed free.
