when is a quote .... to much of a quote .......

    Sorry guy's
    I just wanted for someone to tell me how much of a quote is to much of a quote to post a reply to .... As i try to narrow down the size of the posts i quote on .... but it's a bit hard to shorten a quote if the post your quoting on is only one line? I just wish i had a idea as to what is considered to much quote ....I try very hard to play by the rules in the forum BUT its kind of hard when i don't have a guideline i can bounce off of .....

    Hello igotfrogs,

    It is preferable if you trim the quote as much as possible to the relevant part of the topic you are replying to. There is no need to quote a player's response if you are the next poster. If you are unsure, rather than use a full quote, you could put "@shooger.sweet" at the top of your reply so players know who you are referring to.

    ok no thats cool .... it's been very hard as i say i try and play by the rules ..... BUT unless you have someone poke you in the eye and explain where your going wrong its very hard to fix the problem! Thank you for your time and reply,,,,, you may close .... just trying to figure out where i was going wrong ....
