Why is the cost of manure so low?

Is there a glitch going on in the market when trying to buy or sell manure? The amount we get to buy or sell it is very very low. To low in my opinion. Will the amount ever go back to where it was or is it going to stay like it is now?

The price of manure always fluctuates, the price will probably go up soon with the next crop-needing event. Manure on my market often gets down to 0.10 CCs per unit.

 

I have never seen it as low as it has been recently though and going down to 0.10 CCs per unit seems extreme. I won't sell at those prices.

 

No glitch, just the basic forces of supply and demand.

We just had a not-very-demanding event in terms of event crops (which weren't even mandatory if you weren't going after the CR) and the tropical lands were free to produce manure from stables and workshops, with an added bonus from the Happy Manure Day mini-event.

Not much demand + too much supply + limited manure storage = people giving away their manure for practically nothing because they're producing more manure than they could possibly use or store. Use it, sell it, or lose it.

 

It's Happy Manure Day, where you get double the smelly stuff on every harvest. So there is a glut of manure driving down the price. Since you can only hold so much manure on your farm, players, sell at whatever price they can. There. Is also a limit of 10 transaction at a maximum of 100 units each. So sell it or lose it!

 

It goes in spurts and squirts It quite frequently fluctuates during growing *junks* for events and goes down for breeding events

 

I don't sell at those prices either, I'm just saying it is not uncommon in my market for manure to sell for less than 1 CC. However low your prices are is possibly out of the ordinary for your particular market, but certainly not unusual in the context of the game. Out of interest, how low is it?

It changes each time I check but when I checked it just now it was 120.00 per unit.

 

In my market that is quite high for the times when manure is popular to sell. Right now the lowest listing in my market is 104.99 per unit, but yesterday it was at 32, and as I said, it's not uncommon for it to go much lower than that. It seems you've been blessed with a market that sells manure for a high price most of the time!

 

In my market the price is ranging from 48.4 CC per until to 794.5 CCs. And with 1896 units available for purchase there is no need to pay the higher prices. Too bad I don't need any right now.

 

.10 on market 40 and lots of it at that price until next week

 

.10 a unit on 30. Market is loaded.

 

.10 on market 39 - 53 pages of offers at that price

 

Don't know what my market is but it's selling right now for .10 and there are 4333 offers.

I have, but I don't either. Not because I care about the price, it just doesn't move. When prices get this low it means no one has any room in their storage and they are not really needing to use it at this time. Everyone has all they need.
