We will need to Breed animals to collect badges from the Reptile, Mammal and Arthropod classifications.
Requirements:
Reptile Side:
715,000 barn value of reptiles and bred reptiles
80 reptile badges
Mammal Side:
1,205,000 barn value of mammals and bred mammals
86 mammal badges
Arthropod Side:
730,000 barn value of arthropods and bred arthropods
80 arthropod badges


Valid animals for each category:
Reptiles:

• anaconda, chameleon, crocodile, green tree monitor, tortoise

Mammals:

• armadillo, anteater, badger, bat, Bear, beaver, bison, camel, cat, chamois, chinchilla,
• cow, deer, dolphin, donkey, dog, elephant, fox, gazelle, giraffe, goat, groundhog,
• guinea pig, hamster, hedhehog, hippo, horse, kangaroo, koala, lion, llama, lynx,
• mole, monkey, moose, mouse, otter, panda, pig, platypus, pony, rabbit, raccoon, red
• panda, reindeer, rhino, seal, sheep, skunk, sloth, squirrel, tiger, weasel, wolf,
• yak, zebra

Arthropods:

• ant, bee, butterfly, glowworm, crab, dragonfly, ladybug, lobster, snail, spooky spider, stag beetle

There are BB, PF Sale, Deluxe Pheromone Sale and Palooza all starting at 10.00 tomorrow - four hours before the event. Don't understand the logic but I will beholding off from doing anything till after the event starts. No badges if we start too early.

Even if we don't get any random badges (very unlikely), a maximum of 492 PF will be required and we get 144 PF in prizes making it an outlay of 348 PF.
Of course, I haven't sussed out the animal donations yet but I'm sure I will find a way. I'm lovin' those prizes!

My farm is pretty low on PF so I'm planning to leave the last step in each class. Crate contents are random and I rarely get my first choice! I already have Bear IV. Those last rewards are pretty costly in PF terms.

For the first seven steps I'll need a total of 228 PF for all the badges. I might not get enough bred animals from those breedings but I'll find a way around that. The reptiles and anothropods might be a problem but I can use the market and first level animals.

That will save me 264-96 (rewards) = 168 PF and I'll receive 3 new pens. Great prizes!

Just got my last critters in the breeding pen. I'd be interested to know if anyone had any bonus badges. Out of 246 breedings, I got exactly - 0!
My highest skips were Gothic Butterfly from base Butterflies.
My Crates were very disappointing: Red Bee and Red Chameleon.
Oh well, it was fun while it lasted!

My crates were ok this time - red bee and my second green tree monitor - was really hoping for the monitor. Congrats to all who have finished.

 

Congratulations to all who have finished! I am also done! My crates gave an Orange tortoise and a Red Crab!

 

Also finished. Best skip was a blue emperor to a red gothic butterfly; along with a handful of two level skips. Crates yielded a red chameleon and a red crab. Per your question illy - I received one badge for each breeding, all in the same category I was breeding.

I'm an ooooooooooold farmer noooooooooow.

I see what I want to see these day on the farm. Here I wazza thinking I would get a cloud row with a fancy dancy pen everyday. But this is a one time shin-dig.

Then I wazza gettin exciting about maybe gettin a pink egg thinggie .... but again... the oooooooooold farmer nooooow mind thinggie.

I just can't get all excited about what you fine farmers are gettin in you crates of .... well you know ... may as well be a crate of .... you know.

I'm gonna take my time with no hurry hurry.

Badge breeding has been disappointing as expected so fine with me.

I am thinking about ah giving that dragonfly instead of breeding animals though.

I'll just have to think on it a spell and ask the farm wife (tlcmom) for one of her mighty fine red punch to kick off the thinking.

An egg farm sho would be nifty.
