i was just wondering how everyone is doing i only got the birds and mammals done on all my farms because i dont have many zombie sheep so its going to be a long and tedious journey for me cause i really want that stall but im going to fight all the way to the end maybe someone could share their secret lol

 

Try using PFs for zombie feed. You can grow quick. (PFs can be gathered from FSQs, crates & bought with Farm Coins)
If you have grave game giver item, it gives +1 zombie sheep. (I have 2 of it. But both won't work simultaneously. So one day I use one of it and the next day I use another.)
Crate of Moonlight Mania might give Zombie Sheep.
+2 Full Moon Stable Revenue Bonus coupon gives you +2 animals.
Crate of Moonlight Mania III can give you +2 Full Moon Stable Revenue Bonus.
There is also overall animal revenue bonus coupon.


Zoombie Sheep Breeding starter pack from the wisdom Tree gives you 20 zombie sheep & 10 PFs - 65 stars needed

Halloween calendar gave 12 zombie sheep & 16 sheep. The first day of the first row gave 12 zombie; 1 day of the second row gave 16 zombie. You can unlock now with BBs, if you have BBs.

If you have giver items like Mighty Mowers etc., they give +1 animals.
You get this mighty mower when you finish the birds breeding side.
Use it with PFs & speed up buffs, coupons, CRs etc to get more animal revenues from zombie sheep.

Neon Butterfly Cocoon Pet gives you +1 animal


Spin Farm wheel to see if you can get any bonus like 100%, 200%, +1 animal etc.

You can use buffs, cloud rows to reduce growth time of animal stalls.
You can use cloud rows to get +1 animals if you have the cloud row.

You need 70 MM Animal badges to complete the event
I got 3 Radioactive zombie. 33, gothic zombie & 81 physic zombie.
I did not get even one additional/stray MM badge from breeding of mammals or birds.

I am going to try in my other farms. None of them have zombie sheep pen or feed, I think. But I am going to try the above formulas and see if I can succeed. I will let you know my success.

 

I actually got tricked ... did not do enough research before jumping into breeding Full Moon (thought for sure they will consider bats and crows as Full Moon animals from now on). I only have 1 single zombie sheep pen and it feels impossible to finish this quest. I need many many sheep to be able to tackle and to just waste all the available +1 sheep revenue bonuses and items and wake up several times in the night seems like an overkill, really; I did the mammal and bird and I have already pretty good rewards;

 

I have finished. You do not need only the Zombie Sheep to finish - you can donate anything, tree fruits, crops etc. It was announced and the FAQ adjusted. Hope this helps.

 

The secret is big storage of zombie sheep before event.

If it is the badges you need, breed them to next level till you run out of sheep and try to get new ones.
Donate everything else but those zombie sheep.

Buy more zombie sheep pen(s) from Jack's shop.
Try to get extra sheep every time you grow them. There are many ways to get more than just one.

If you have Failed Experiment (+) from Mystery Science lab event, it is time to use it.

Gives: 220 EP x Farm level or 220 TEP x Baha level, +2 extra revenue when harvesting stables on fullmoon playfields for 24 hours
Time: 22 hours
Size: 2x2

Larger harvest from your stalls bonus in gold slot gives extra, +100% or +200% harvest bonus in diamond slot gives more animals. Farmwheel can give +1 or +100% or +200%.
There are pets and cloud rows which gives +1 or something.
Mighty mover gives also +1.

I get 8 zombie sheep right now from one pen. I am filling my animal storage all over the farm, so I use couple of slots to give more from stalls.

 

thank you guys ill check and see if i have any of these things to help me and i totally forgot about the wisdom tree thanks agin ill post an update after i figure out what i have i also have a +1 or 2 i forget which but it needs a diamond spot which i dont have because i have CAC in it for the plants

 

There is one MM buff which gives +2 of all MM stuff (excluding event crops) for 24 hours without needing a slot. In addition, if you have several and apply them at the same time, they multiply the amount not the time. For instance, if you apply two, you will get +4 overall harvest for 24 hours. One of my personal faves!

 

I finished during the first BBD with zero stress. 70 breedings were more than enough for me to get at least 12 of each of the higher level zombie sheep for the new Doctor Zhiwendigo FSQ. I didn't get a single extra full moon badge from bird or mammal breedings either.

I had a couple of thousand zombie sheep left over from over a year ago and probably used around 200 (only an estimate since my mind was elsewhere and I wasn't keeping track) to get the full moon badges. One important lesson I learned during my first year of farming is that it's far better to be overprepared than to produce strictly on an as-needed basis and be left scrambling during an event if your assumptions turn out to be wrong. That's why I'm working on producing even more zombie sheep.

Planting crops with CAC in one area while you have a bunch of stable revenue buffs running for animals in another area is a poor use of buffs. Some of the buffs listed above are only available in limited quantities and aren't exactly easy to come by, so why not make the most of them by deleting all your plots of land and putting animals out everywhere? That will eventually leave more time and space for you to plant those crops in the future.

In addition to all the buffs mentioned above, there are CRs that reduce production times on givers (so you can use those +1 givers again sooner) or increase PF efficiency on stables/workshops (which reduces production time on stables when using PF). There are also CRs that shorten mill times if you're low on PF but have enough ingredients on hand to mill zombie sheep feed.

Anyway, this thread is a good example of why I believe it's very important to get in the habit of doing events consistently and coordinating buffs during normal farming. More events --> more buffs --> more zombie sheep per pen / unit of feed --> less time MM fields are occupied with zombie sheep stables and less time spent growing crops to mill for feed --> more time for other MM goals.

Farmers who don't do both of these things will often find themselves lamenting how there's never enough time/space for normal farming outside of events, which leads to a vicious cycle of feeling the need to skip more events to make time for normal farming which then exacerbates problems with insufficient time/space in the long run. Less resources from fewer events also means these players will have to be even more selective about which events they're going to participate in, and they'll often miss out on the best prizes.

Easily overlooked but important fact.

1 Grave Game giving 50% more yield = half a zombie sheep rounded up = +1 zombie sheep
2 Grave Games giving 2 x 50% more yield = 100% more yield = +1 zombie sheep

They're both working simultaneously but yeah, no point in using both at the same time when there's no observable increase in yield. Best to stagger the activation of these givers like you said, although I don't know if it's necessary to wait a full day in between?

Full Moon Harvest Booster

Any buff like this one that doesn't require a slot is stackable (i.e., increases yield instead of extending duration) so we can stack as many as we want. If an upper limit does exist, I'm sure it's not a number that the average farmer needs to worry about lol. I get mine from Crate O' Witchy Goods M/S which come from CRs and a couple of givers like Mysterious Arts and Witch's Cottage. I keep those givers out at all times because this buff is so useful.

 

Thank you zerodegrees. Now I understood that 50% bonus. I usually harvest only once a day. That's why I said I keep one for today and the next one for the next day.

 

i dont have this giver i didnt even know about it BUT i did get the workshop for zombie pen from this event YAAAY!!!!!! Thanks for all the input now i just have to get it on my other farms

im sorry i called it a workshop but its not its a stable and ive been working on the crops and i got the new tree so hopefully it wont go hungry lol im trying to plant crops to get more zombie and gargoyle stalls thank you zerodegrees and everyone who helped

 

Don't forget to collect the Zombie Sheep Starter Pack from the Tree of Wisdom.
Gives 20 Zombie sheep + 10PF + 20 Pheromones.

 

A reminder, The zombie is a gluttonous eater (my opinion)! To make each food for him you need: 100 Dolls eye and 25 Braincoli and
75 Jelly Ear Fungus. And they seem to take forever to grow when you are trying to grow other things also! Even when you use the "Terror Boquet" to help grow crops faster!

 

I hate having to make zombie sheep food. Uses all the dolls eye and jelly ear fungus and then you have to grow more. Seems like every MM, I spend most of it growing those two crops to feed the zombie sheep.

I got this event all done on the three usual farms before we hit the road for home on Thursday morning. I didn't deliver a single zombie sheep. All 3 farms had tons of horror tomatoes available, so that's what I donated to get the wendigo stable. Of course, I had to breed the zombie sheep, which was a little difficult for the teenager farm, but managed to get it done.

We are home now. Slept in my own bed last night (aaaaaah). Last day of driving, we had rain, fog and snow. Started snowing here late last night and hasn't stopped. Winter has officially arrived in Montana.

I see we have baby boom for another few hours. Might do some tail-up breeding for quests.

Sorry wisdom tree, I couldn't find enough time to spend in the forum and game this weekend. So couldn't reply to your post.

I tried the event in one of my farm. I havn't played in my other farms for several years. In my second farm which is at level 89, I finished the mammal side. Played the zombie part and got the wendy stall. After that I stopped. I got 20 Zombie from wisdom oak for stars, unlocked the 12 & 16 zombies from the Halloween Calendar. With that I bred and also used the bred zombies to donate in the event. Bird part, I finished till the crate of critters. With that I am satisfied.

In other 2 farms, I unlocked Panda breeding and also the slot which gives 333 pandas. With that I bred Mammals side and got quokka stall. I used the bred animals to donate.

Rest of the farms I don't have necessary animals to breed or donate. Also low in PFs. But I am going to try if I can do the zombie part till the wendy stall reward. (edit - I went through my other farms. Several did not even have baha open. My other farms are not worth the effort. In one farm I can buy zombie baskets with BBs. But is wendy stable worth it ? For me not. So I left it as such.)

 

I finished the event on the first day too and used a lot of PF trying to get some more higher level animals. I did finish Parrot and Horse breeding FSQs which was a pleasant surprise and bonus from the event.
I would love to buy the lower animals to advance a bit further on other breeding FSQs but I keep spending all my CCs!
I may dabble again tomorrow - Goats and Cows are deliciously and temptingly close to being finished!
It is going to take ages to get enough "Wendies" to finish that FSQ so that may be a long term project!

I have not milled wendigo feed - not enough of the tree fruit in stock. Takes the new crops to buy the tree from Jack's shop, so that keeps knocking down the numbers of those crops. So for now, I'm feeding the wendigo stable PF. Using all the buffs I can find to up the harvest numbers on MM and especially animals. Trying to make up for being unable to farm most of the time I was gone.
