I'm not sure I will participate either. Too much PF and animals...
Which is too bad, because I LOVE the Red Salamander den! It's pure awesome!
I think I'll just sell my few frogs on the market! I sure could use some coins!

 

Just because I'll harvest my cloudy rows, and wayward way bay and maybe the park doesn't mean I won't show up. It takes time to harvest things.

And why is everyone producing frogs?

 

here's my take on this event and BPs overwhelming us with their greedy demands for basic garbage in return... :~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'll be putting out trees and animals, maybe sell a few animals or poo... will not be sucked into the ripoff breeding events which demand so much for worthless trees I already have enough of! wherever BP got the idea that it was a good strategy to do so many breeding events so close together they need to send it back.. Stupid idea that will shortly have most of us hopping mad.

 

Nope, I'm out. Survived last event by the skin of my teeth, but without the extra coins to buy any bonus PF.

I can tell that in my market. I thought I would have sold most of my stuff by now.
Maybe my selling expectations were too high for this event.

And until others come to their senses my strategy is to keep gettin it while the gettin is good.

 

last time I just did to the regular pens/workshops and then quit. I think I will do the same for this one. I don't like that we only have one option for two of the three again. You have to have a lot frogs and fish to do this. I don't know if I have enough of either and I certainly can't go buying frogs at the current market price

 

Seems a lot of players are quite unhappy with this event.

Big demands of animals.. and all the breeding for the badges.

I have to ask BP if I am getting everything cheaper, if I am the only one doing the event
That's how the market works. If nobody wants it.. it gets cheaper

I AM doing this event!!!I have severe FOCD and Baby Boom OCD!!! Big Thanks to all the rumor gurus(esca & 12ss12) I've been raising froggies and fishies for weeks now!
Plus I adore salamanders!!!! My Grandparents lived in the mountains when I was a little girl. My Grandfather would occasionally send me a box with small holes in it. Guess what was in it?? Salamanders!!! I kept a terrarium next to my bed...with all my little salamanders(about 3 of them). Before going to sleep...I would put them in my bed and give them all a kiss goodnight.
Mom, of course, wasn't pleased with those shipments or when I occasionally fell asleep before putting my salamander babies back in their glass home.

Well i start this event but i dont finisch it i may go for 1 or maybe two standard penn
have now not even half they ammount PF neededbut i will get 1or 2

 

Why have another breeding event requiring oh so much PF, so close to the last one? They've always pushed us to buy PF, but they used to at least be more subtle about it.
I have a decent amount of PF and animals, so I'll probably just get the base pens, but only because of lingering case of focd. It honestly doesn't seem worth the cost/effort for yet another animal and workshop to keep in storage But who knows? Maybe there's a purpose for all these new creatures and trees that remains to be seen.

News from the HU TL:

• They (the BP) understood, that everybody feel hard the two events next to each other.
• The requirement of PF is high because, they calculated, that the prizes are "high" as well.
• They won't do in the future this big (or bigger) PF required events after the other. (So they will but not often next to each other..)
• The next few breeding events will have lower PF amounts. (They work on it, thinking about it)
• They don't want to lower anything, change anything for the event which starts tomorrow.
• Cats would have been the buffer between the "wild animals" events for October. Technical issues, that they are working on a new cat design. 12ss12, you have to search for the kittens. Redesigned cats, that is what they are doing.

Oh, and I achieved the Ingrid sticker! Don't worry 12ss12, I'll come (if I have time)

 

As a member of the FOCD club count me in. I already have the breeding animals so will work on FSQ to get the badges.

 

I would have much rather BP did not replace cat breeding with Wilder About Animals. Granted the rewards of new pens are valuable but there are alternatives that should (IMHO) have been considered instead of having another high breeding event so close together. The first Wild about Animals was 2 weeks ago and needed over 600 PF to get the stables and red upgrades. Now another one just like it. Over 1200 PF needed in less than a month?

I believe BP could have have considered any of the following:
1) Offered just one new pen (not three)
2) Postponed all breeding until cats were redesigned
3) Have a normal Baby Boom that is not tied to any event so we can pursue other farming goals (upgrades, quests, or just inventory)
4) Not been so stingy with the PF rewards
5) Lowered the amount of badges required
6) Tweaked the rate of multiple badges earned when breeding

I know this post is better suited for the feedback thread but none has been created so far.

I love my farms and have been playing just over 4 years but I cannot keep up this pace. The joy is beginning to be replaced with stress and obligation. I am eager to meet a challenge, even a hard one, but this event means that no matter how well I prepared my farm, if I have too little PF, I am out of luck. Sad day on the farm.
