Too much Power Feed needed. Too little PF rewarded. Too soon after the first event using this format.

I would have much rather BP did not replace cat breeding with Wilder About Animals. Granted the rewards of new pens are valuable but there are alternatives that should (IMHO) have been considered instead of having another high breeding event so close together. The first Wild about Animals was 2 weeks ago and needed over 600 PF to get the stables and red upgrades. Now another one just like it. Over 1200 PF needed in less than a month? :wuerg:>:(

I believe BP could have have considered any of the following:
    1) Offered just one new pen (not three)
    2) Postponed all breeding until cats were redesigned
    3) Have a normal Baby Boom that is not tied to any event so we can pursue other farming goals (upgrades, quests, or just inventory)
    4) Not been so stingy with the PF rewards
    5) Lowered the amount of badges required
    6) Tweaked the rate of multiple badges earned when breeding

I love my farms and have been playing just over 4 years but I cannot keep up this pace. The joy is beginning to be replaced with stress and obligation. I am eager to meet a challenge, even a hard one, but this event means that no matter how well I prepared my farm, if I have too little PF, I am out of luck. Sad day on the farm.

I agree with all of the above.
    Too much powerfeed needed.
Three new pens introduced which we don't really need.
The trees offered are those I have plenty of and could gift to newbies next gift and trade (apart from the Tilia which I only a couple of but don't need any more)
    Suggestions;
Give a Scented tree with a breeding event - this will give pheromones to help us shorten the time.
Only give one new pen at a time.
Space out events which are similar.

Really BP???? Are you people drunk? Two of these type events within 30 days with over 1300PF needed.

The only nice thing was the 6 new pens(both events). I only got the base ones last time, I'll barely only get 1 base this time.

2 big thumbs down overall for this event.

skipping this one as there is not enough PF for the rewards given out.

I have to agree with everyone's negative feedback. Two events so close together with high PF demands leave out too many players that can participate in the event.

    Love this event!
Graphics -- almost redundant to keep saying how wonderful they are, but compliments are certainly deserved. Cannot be complacent about those thanks! If they are neglected, it is just that... you do such a wonderful job, we sometimes forget to mention it!

Prizes are great. Party wheel tickets, special pens, wonder pens and trees, even some PF (though perhaps not enough for lower level players). I have cork, etc, but that is not a criticism, since many do not. It IS good to see things brought back!

As typical for breeding events, I have enough animals. I like that we have to earn badges, though it does take a lot of PF. It would be nice for lower level players, those without mill to have more opportunities. Breeding events are too frequent to allow those not buying PF to participate readily, which is unfortunate. Still, for me it was not an issue, since I had enough stocks. '

VERY happy that you made the BBD longer, allowing those in all time zones to participate.

I have to agree with the above (except Woody) too soon. Too much PF. I have to sit this one out also.

I really want those new animals but I have to decide if I am willing to use that much PF again so soon.:(:( My question to you BP is why for both wild animal events are you giving so little PF back to us? It is insane for us to use 100's of our supply and not get even 1/2 of that back-.--.- Let's say I used 1250 PF between the 2 events and I can mill 5 PF a day. It will take 250 days to make that back:eek::eek::eek:. And what about the players who have done all the quests with PF as rewards?? Or players who can't or aren't able to purchase PF?? SOL I guess;)-.-

    Liking this very much
Its hard going frog-wise for me, but I'm hoping to complete

The best thing for me so far is that the stables gave me 3 pens that I didn't have so a big thumbs upxD

Used to be you could finish events with some strategy and hard work, and you spent money to make it easier; now, they seem to be nothing but a money pit. I bought PowerFeed for the last event, but I'm done with that. I used to buy the monthly subscription of helpers (harvester, etc.); I'm done with that - and I wouldn't be if I didn't feel like BP was being so greedy. The greediness is making me want to spend less and less money -- certainly opposite of the effect BP wanted. I used to love this game; now, I'm liking it less and less. Maybe I'll just ignore all the quests and do some regular farming for a while. The events just are not fun any more.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way - I can't seem to keep neighbors, they keep disappearing from the game! I finally got to be a mentor, but the chicks never seem to last, usually not even making it to level 10. BP, when will you realize you are using the wrong strategy on us!

I have to agree with most of the above - too soon after the last almost identical event, way too much PF needed, so little PF as reward. I don't want any more animals, I can hardly keep up with milling feed as it is let alone milling PF when I can. Feed in the market is so high (quite rightly so, those who can make a profit from it, good for them - I never have enough spare to sell!). If we could mill on Baha, that would improve the situation. I will save my PF for the next breeding event that appeals to me, suits my other commitments (LOL! Yes, I do feel my farms have become a commitment to keep up with them!) and if the prizes are really worth the effort.

I can't really agree with Woody as I can't even be bothered to open up the event window as I am not taking any part at all.

I know that the idea of another breeding event of this kind so soon after the last one is to encourage farmers to spend RL money but I think this time this strategy has failed. I normally have about six neighbours who buy PF during the sale. This time I had one. Tells me something.

I have been playing since nearly the start of the game (approaching seven years) and I have always been champing at the bit to start an event and I have always particularly loved breeding events, being very disappointed if work gets in the way of BB. Just lately I have become more selective in which events I do and I am sure I am not alone.

Sorry to be so negative, not usually my style, but it is how I feel. :sleepy:

Too soon after the last one. The breeding events seem to demand far too much real life money to be able to keep up, or if you have been playing for a long time and have it all in your barn. The new animals stables isn't really a thrill as they either won't be useful or they come with ridiculous quests demand. I did a calculation of the need of rare animals needed in quest, none where under 100 animals. Group them 3 and 3, that is a lot of time, place and feed. So even if those pens will be needed, I'm not thrilled. More discouraged.

I'm sure the graphic is as stunning as ever, your designers' and artists' work is really the best part of farmerama. Pity you are ruining the balance of the gameplay.

Agree with everything above. Too much PF, too soon, feeling like this game is another job - but excellent graphics, love the new pens, and love the opportunity for newer players to get some trees and such that they might not have had. However, yes, the quests ask for far too many of the newer rare animals, and overall, the feeling of this game is "spend your money or fail". And in case you haven't noticed - people are leaving in droves. Dial back on the breeding quests, ask for less and people will play more. Happy players spend money. Unhappy players leave. Econ 101, keep your customers happy and they spend more money.

Even with FOCD I find these last 2 breeding events beyond the pail.. I purchased PF last time to complete but it just isn't happening again as the rewards are poor...
For me, please get back to the drawing board.. I will invest some but not stupidly for little reward.. :(

i DON'T see this happening because bp is way too greedy !!!! lower the pf needed for these events this is crazy the event is NOT fun when u r watching pf that took u months to build up . leave faster than u can mill it !!!

Two Breeding Events Back to Back within 4 Weeks Asking for Total Amount of 1340 Power Feeds is Pure Greed by Big Point.

Out of All Previous Breeding Events it gave the Lower Amount of Power Feeds as an Reward. This is a Joke !!!

I would rather like to win Prizes that helps with Current Farmer Society Quests.

What is the point to Win Prizes such as Trees, Pens or Workshops, when there is no demand for them. It makes more sense when they are more in need !!

In my view that Salamander Den, Hammock Factory and Shark Pen is not worth the Extra Power Feeds. As I will not be forced to complete Quests to get Power Feeds or Mill Power Feeds to make up for shortfall to complete this Event

If we have another Event asking for Lots of Power Feed. What happens to farmers when all alternative options is depleted to make up for Shortfall of Power Feeds.

Event if Farmers are milling Power Feed continuously at the Mill Still has a Short Fall of Power Feeds for this Event.....So what the point of this when farmers start moaning about increase in cost of Animal Feeds do to not balance Milling Animal Feeds.

I know for a Fact that we will be able to obtain a Salamander Den, Shark Pen and Hammock Factory at later Date with much last Requirements of Power Feeds or Growing Event Crops instead in near Future Event. I do not see the urgency to get these special prizes now it is pointless when there is no demand for them. I am very sure many would agree with me.

I would Rather Obtain an Badger Pen as they were almost impossible to get hold off during recent Barter and Gift Event. This would have made it more appealing to me and many other Farmers :p
