"Winter is Coming" Bingo Event Strategy Thread

New interims report:
all fields full with glowberries. Timewise I should be able to get two harvests today before sleeping time with a total of around 3000 Glowberries in the barn after sowing again.
Set up the mill for 15 bagpacks to light lantern 16 (giving 705 K CC)
Barn content at the moment:
247 Glowberries
3 Flasks
15 Bagpacks (Barn+mill)

9 lanterns lit. As soon as the next harvest is ready and the bagpacks milled I can light lantern 16 and lantern 1.

All in all I seem to be fine in the timeline.

with all the event's, you need every plot of land you have. there isn't any room the farm is fulled up with all the junk you get, without a stalk row, all you can do is stick it in inventory, great event more junk nowhere to put it.

Keep us posted if you figure out a better rate julie, the longest I can grow right now is garlic! Im creeping along slowly, but reaching my goal none the less

 

I Grown and used all Glowberries. Milled All Needed Backpacks too. Now Planting Trees and Rosebud in All Fields to get the Remaining Drops as i got 187 Thermos Flask out of 520 Remaining to unlock the last Three Lanterns....

I have 13 Lanterns Lit Just Three more to Go.

 

Last lot of glowberries in the fields.
All bagpacks milled and donated.
still 482 drops needed This is again a killer for me. Never get these huge droprates. But ok.
still 4 lanterns to be lit, whereof lantern no 5 will be done last.
As soon as ALL growberries are done, I will also put pens and trees out on all fields. Hope this will then increase the drops.
Enough time left to at least try to finish.

So far I think I am good to go.

Last night I planted diff crops in each field as they became available so I could match the time till my CAC ran out.
Cauliflower-20 drops (10hrs)
Winter Jasmine-15 (9 hrs)
Crops Square-19 drops (14 hrs in my glade)
Physalis-11 hrs (27 drops)
I did water these but don't remember the time on all of them Crop square was also fertilized. So that was 82 drops in roughly 9 hrs or so and I'm happy with that Still need 212 drops to finish 2 lanterns left.....Keep going farmers, there's still time!!

 

Event completed after several crops of carnation. Each field gave more than 30 drops in 11:30 hs (with the refinement). With the flower row it's 10:30 hs. And if I also use alchemist's crafts 09:20 hs or so. Can't see the flower for a while At least, until the farm prep for the next event.

 

I don't have any good refinements....gave up bc I never seemed to get any good results But maybe I will try again someday I just harvested 3 fields of soybeans and a field of cassova (had to run my 24 hr harvester out) and got another 20 drops. I know it seems low but for a couple of hrs, but those numbers do add up before you know it Since there is plenty of time left I will probably grow flowers while eating PJ as I am working on my Floristry. Lily of the Valley will def be included as we might need those in Jan!

 

julie, keep working on those roses, and carnations if you have them open. Takes a long time to get the good refinements, but when you can do instant (or almost instant) carnations, it's totally worth it.

Done with crops here, just need 249 drops, and with the drops being pretty good this time, don't think I'll even need instant carnations.

 

Thanks julie for the drop information. Im up to being able to plant spinach now, hopefully it will be kind!! I still need a little over 100 drops for the 5 stables I have my heart set on, but time is quickly ticking away. I will keep at it until the very end, dont give up!!

That's the spirit, Candy!! If your trophies aren't in the LL rune, make sure you place both of them on each field and wait at least 10 or 15 seconds so the game can "recognize" they are on that field. When I used to have to move mine, after I harvested the field they were on, I would delete them and place them on the next field to harvest, then go back to the field I just deleted them from and plant my crops. That way the trophies are def on the field long enough for the game to know they are there. I hope this information helps any player who reads this and has to move their trophies

Just went over to check how far I had to go before reaching LL and BAAAM... 300 stars, really!!! Guess I better get use to moving that trophy cause its gonna be a while

 

Finished the event this morning and set out my trees and stables Hope there is something good in there Congrats to those who finished or made their goals!! There is still time to get more drops so keep going Candy, those were the best 300 stars I spent but I also had to clear the way up to the rune But that is when you get busy doing the FSQ's to get stars built up.

 

Didn't grow any crops at all - just normal farming here, but did donate the flasks I accumulated and some of the other things to collect a few prizes, so no effort here. Anyone not doing the event I'd recommend donating those thermos flasks, especially if only a low level farm.

Finally got the 5 stables I was after, plus somehow managed to get the 3 baha trees.. Im a happy girl today! Waiting for them to finish growing so I can see what they are

 

I didn't get a hippo was really wishing for 1. Also got 2 more cashews and upgrades I did manage to get 2 anteaters, 1 tiger, 2 red panda, a couple of classic II and more oranges

 

Missing just the last lantern.
Still need 110 drops to finish everything... Wooooohooooohooo
Hope I will get them, as this will also give me lots of stables from the patterns.

For me... this will be a last minute thingy again.

Got 3 classic parrot pens, monkey playground orange and a red panda! My three trees turned into XL achacha, XXL Guava and XXL Grapefruit!! I was hoping for a Hippo too but loving that Red Panda

For someone who wasn't really doing this event, I managed to light all but one lantern. Just need to remember to put out trees and stables. My other farms lit all but two lanterns. Very pleased that I did not rip up all my farms as I don't think I would have got enough drops even if I had.
