I was almost forgetting to use my season coins to get 1+ to stables. The Season ends today at 6:00 pm in my part of the world. As i

have 9 of them, i'll use them 3 times. Everything counts!

 

I'm using a 20% Increased Drop chance Gold bonus (the little mouse sleeping under a parasol) ....

Hasn't increased the drop of Ornaments a bit! I go 4 from one complete field of long harvest flowers :-(

 

The winter Korean fir, the winter cardinal and the event crop Holly are not used in any way in the evet, you just need to harvest them and stack them up in inventory. As you harvest you will fill part two of the event which is getting prizes as you get more and more of them. To complete part two you will need to harvest 12580 Holly, 9296 winter Korean fir and 2526 winter cardinal. This will unlock three of the givers needed for the CR and three Piccolo boxes.

If you have Magic Tree, put them out, they will give you one. I have 15 Magic Trees, so I get more ball ornements from them and gift from neighbours than harvesting candy cane callas all day!!

 

So, I/We must do puzzle minigames and Win those upgrades to Winter Cardinals and Korean Firs FROM THERE - i not so - it´s impossible to get those numbers and 3 week Event - lost !

edit: now I get 8 / Korean Fir - 10000 / 40 (5 trees, 8 per tree) * 3,6hours (3h36min) = 900 hours (with 5 trees) so IMPOSSIBLE if not play minigames and win more threes and upgrades to those trees!

Just a quick tip that could maybe be useful to some of you who wonder in which order to deliver boxes in the bottom of the mountain path...
If I'm not mistaken, box 10 unlock box 34, which unlock box 21 that gives you keys. If I have know, I would have keep candy canes to unlock it sooner...

 

Surprise "tile's", has anyone found any that have more than what the FAQ table promises, previously had for example Piccolo Box, Party Ticket, lots of experience points (or something like that), have you found any?

Now it's annoying that I didn't realize right from the start to put the Firs trees or Cardinal stables I got in the areas, I was just in a terrible hurry to get 50000++ plants made, only to notice that now there are probably about 20000++ plants "Holly" completely useless when it's not needed at all in "Mountain Top"...

Now I have 13 Winter Korean Firs, basic versions
Now I have 03 Winter Cardinal Basic versions
Now I have 01 Winter Cardinal Yellow version

with some bonuses, 16 firs per/tree
with some bonuses, 3 cardinals from Basic and 6 Cardinals from Yellow one

I have only just noticed (or dared to donate!) 5 Festive Cookies to reduce the times on the special tiles to get a Key! Now I can get two a day on each one which means I will get the 20 needed to get to the Top Mountain a bit quicker!

I have kept back 120 for those that I need later just in case the supply runs out but now I see a clear run to those 20 (+ another 5 needed on the Bottom Mountain).
I don't know how I am going get enough Winter Cardinals or Winter Fir Trees but I am sure the penny will drop eventually!

 

Hey guys, I realized we need 20 keys to activate the mountain peak. Unfortunately, I've spent my keys generously and now I'm left with a few that are useless. Use your keys carefully, don't hoard unnecessary items, and save them for later. That's my advice, but of course, every player has their own unique game plan.

 

When does the mountain top open?

 

I wanted to activate the mountain peak after the 30th gift package, but it seems I need 20 more keys. I think we can proceed once I've delivered enough keys. I hope this helps.

 

Do I need to wrap all boxes to access the top mountain ? Or if I wrap the one on top of the ladder, is it enough ? Anyway I have only 2 keys. As per ç.çiftçi I need 18 more. Hmmmm.

We can open gifts that are blue and have a little robot sticking out of the top. Open only those ones that help you proceed in the event, leaving the "extras" like Wonder Stables for when you have got all you need to get to the Mountain Top - in particular those keys.

I only realised today that we can speed up the tiles that give keys, meaning you can collect 2 (or maybe 3, I don't know) a day and not just one - but you need to use the Festive Cookies. If you have more than you need, use the excess to speed these up to a time that is convenient to you. You can speed it up five times going from 20 hours down to a little over 8 hours (forget precise time). You can do the same with the Candy Apple tiles but I would use the Festive Cookies mainly for the keys if you are not getting many in drops. When you have all the keys you need you can switch to speeding up the Candy Apple tiles.

 

Festive cookies take 10% of the timer from the boxes, so the 10h Candy Apple can be brought down to 5h and the 20h Silver Key to 10h. 5 Festives Cookies can be used at one time. If players want to use them on the 20h Silver Key, I'd recommand to have an over stock of 10 Festive Cookies so that the box can be collected twice with a 10h timer or else it will get back to 20h after the first harvest at 10h.

 

This is an absurd amount of necessities to make an event playable.

Upgrades should make events easier not POSSIBLE.

Most players don't have Howie Donuts. I've never been able to score one at G+Ts. Furthermore, G+Ts have become steadily worse in quality over the years as players leave the game. These days, G+Ts mostly are... not good.

I guess I'd rather play a game that doesn't punish lower level players at Christmas.

It takes 2 cookies per reduction of the timer so if you want to reduce the keys to 10 hours, you will need 10 cookies for each box. There are 3 boxes for keys, so if you want to reduce all of them twice a day, you will need 60 cookies per day.
