Just "planted" my wonderboxes. Now the wait until morning to find out how lucky I am.

 

Congrats to those who finished the quests and received a wonder box. I am running out of time and will not be able to unlock the last quest I am green with envy for you guys!

 

Good Luck Swine and Renzo Houdini, I didn't have either so I'm happy and I have room in my park, would have preferred a music box.

I'm at least planning to use my wine tastings to fill in those 1x2 spots in my beanstalk as soon as I get it open. (Must shoot for bat breeding next MM because I can't afford to buy 3 hungry bats. )

Wine Tasting is not such a bad EP-giver. Before sending it to a cloud, check if you don't have other poorer performers in your park. As a guide, Wine Tasting yields 960 EPs/day/1x1-plot with 6 owls activated (600 with none). In my parks, the current poorest performers yield 800 EPs/day/1x1-plot (500 if I had no owl). So, these are pretty good. If you're needing 1x2s, ask any neighbour to send you a couple of Santa's Helpers and you'll be done.

 

Aluntino & BlackCaviar: The Santa's Helper is great for the clouds if you already have some. Unfortunately the new seasonal gift (Beach club) can not be put in the clouds. So the best way I know to get a 1x2 item for the clouds (outside G&T) is the mummy item from Jack's shop during MM.

BlackCaviar: In my market hungry bats can be bought for less than 35 000, so a little more than 100 000cc. That is not very difficult earn if you try. I would say opening bat breeding is much harder (unless you have a lot of crops saved up already).
Here are some ideas for what to sell:

Chopsticks! Manure during an event, parrots, chickens, grapes, vanilla, and most short time mainland crops. ​

You should check your market, but I think those things should be good things to sell in all the markets.

Thanks Mir85 for the info. Unfortunately I spend my CCs very quickly and only have less than 4K at the moment. The hungry bats in my market are around 40K per bat. I will work on the products, animals and crops you have suggested. I do have some of the MM crops already as I worked on it during the last MM. All I need is more time, lol!

The owls are pets that can be bought in the store's decorations tab. They cost 150 BBs (each) normally, 50% off that in Store Sales days (a mini-event, not very frequent, indeed; actually, I don't recall now when the last one was, but it was several months ago):

You plant them -maximum, 1 per field, all fields, including parks and Island- and, after 7 days -unless you use a "warmer" for another 39 BBs each (20 BBs during sales), that cuts incubation time to 1 hour-, you'll have the owl. Each owl yields 10% more EPs if activated at the moment of harvesting, on everything (crops, pens, items, trees, etc.). Cool-down time is 30 min (meaning you can activate it again after 30 min elapsed since last activation). With 6 owls, it's 60% more EPs at each harvest -you have to activate the owls first, before you harvest, like you do with buffs like CAC, ZAB, PJ, CB, EM, SRJ, etc.-.

It's been my very best investment of BBs in this game, unsurpassed by anything else. I bought each of them at Sales days, not all of them at once.

If I had to suggest what to save your BBs for, then this would be it: owl pets. You won't regret it.
