Wooden mallets

Why is it so difficult to get wooden mallets? It used to be drills which I now have plenty of but I only have 1 wooden mallet. Took a long time to get that one. Can't upgrade any menageries etc without them. Floridasolve 1404513

Specific tools may be more difficult to get, but you can get tools from a variety of places in the game such as harvest drops, events, quests, and from neighbors as daily gifts. You may also try the Greenhouse and Refinery to develop refinements on crops that will give you a higher percentage chance for a specific tool.

I know about the drops, events etc. I've even bought a few tool boxes but I am not going to spend money on a maybe I'll get the mallets. They used to drop at a better rate but now it takes forever to get just one. Maybe you could pass this along to the people who control this & see if they could increase the drop rate. After this you can close the post. Unfortunately it did not help.

I'm sorry you feel that you were not helped. Perhaps you can ask other players how they get mallets in a strategy thread or Game Related Chit chat. There are refinements that give a 1000x chance for wooden mallets.
I hope you are able to expand your menagerie soon.
