    even at my house - there hasn't been any prairie around here since the mid 1930's - my yard is the closest thing to wilderness in my city - coyotes only showed up here about 4 years ago

    I think coyotes and some other animals thrive in cities because of all the garbage we produce.

    something really is wrong - I don't live in Chicago, but in a small "city" (used to be a village) - don't know where the coyotes are coming from

    Edit: They also eat rats and mice. Forgot to mention that. :p
