Workshop issue

Hi! (Missed you all!)

I wanted to stop by with some screenshots of some workshop issues I have been having. I have just now pulled out all my workshops and was excited to try out the workshop cloud for the first time on a large scale!


I have seen the other threads open on this topic, but I do not believe the issue has been resolved as reported in the Official Announcements... and I have screenshots to explain why I think this is the case. (Of course, maybe there is something I totally overlooked...) So I made sure to double-check that I had watered everything, then I cleared my flash cache and still did not see any change in the time.

Here is a screenshot of a spreadsheet I had made quite a while ago with workshop times. I like to use it to help me when placing workshops so harvesting them best fits in with my schedule. (Today was to be my time to add in the 20% time reduction numbers to my spreadsheet... so call me confuzzled as the numbers are not adding up!)

Instead, it appear that there is some sort of glitch that is adding time to workshops instead of subtracting it!



Also, here is a screenshot of my farm a few minutes after I had fed and watered everything. One of yellow rabbit shearing sheds, and the other of the regular rabbit shearing sheds. The numbers actually seem closer to a 10% time reduction bonus than a 20% time reduction bonus.




As you can see, the numbers are definitely off. And like I said before, they still remained that way after I refreshed my screen and cleared my the flash cache...
I have to run, but I hope this helps to sort things out.

As announced here, the Stable master rune was incorrectly affecting workshops, but should only affect Stables; the rune is working correctly now. So the timing of your workshops in your spreadsheet was actually a bug that has now been corrected.

Perhaps a quick look at Bugfixes and other similar questions may have saved all the time that you spent producing your lovely screenshots

Thank you Neon! I appreciate you clarifying the cloud row for me! I was under the impression that the cloud row was for workshops, not for animal stables. I will now have to (eventually) edit my spreadsheet to reflect that I can earn up to 30% time reduction bonus off of my animal stables! (Woot!!)

Unfortunately, this still does not fix the issue. The worksheet times are still off. (See below).



Below you will see that I have activated a new church bouquet, have my guava jam still running, and the cloud row is no longer running. Here are the results in a visual format:



Somehow I am still missing a 10% time reduction bonus on my workshops. This means either one of my buffs (church bouquet or guava jam) is not working correctly, that the base time for workshops is not working correctly, or some other unknown issue is occurring. I have been using this spreadsheet for a very long time. It is very confusing to see the times so different from usual.


Any help in this would be greatly appreciated!

Neon did not mention any cloud row. Please take a moment to re-read his answer, and the mystery will be solved.

As this OA mentions, the Stable master rune used to shorten workshop times by 10%, but it should have only affected stables - so it has been corrected (sad, but that's how it is):

Long story short: Yours workshop spreadsheet times are now wrong.

PS: This has obviously caused negative feedback which was expressed across the Forum repeatedly in the last couple of weeks, and it has been already forwarded to the game team.​

It has been a long day at work and I have not been on the forum very much lately... I read the OAs and FAQs and read the most recent tech threads regarding workshops, but it seems that I am still a bit behind on the most recent news.

That is indeed sad news about the Stable rune no longer effecting workshops!

Again, so sorry! I guess misunderstood the OA when I read it! I will admit that there have been so many changes to the game recently that I have found myself struggling to keep cloud rows straight... Add to that I must have misread the Stable rune announcement - I thought it was about a bug related to one of the new cloud rows. (Santapalooza cloud row).

I appreciate you taking my confusion and making it more clear! Thank you for all you do!
