World Water Day - charity:water well sale

Howdy Farmers,

The World Water Day is coming on 22nd of March. Detailed information about the WWD can be found here.

To support this activity, we would like to sell a special item for the World Water Day. The sale will start on Monday, the 17th March. The item will cost 1,99 €. 100% of the profit (after transaction fees and possible partner fees) of the sale of the item will be donated to charity: water. ​

Our campaign with charity: water will have its own page where you can directly donate to our campaign for that organization (we will send the link once the page exists).
We’d like to reach 20,000 USD (direct donations from Farmerama players or from the profits of the sale of the item) so that we can fund an entire well in Kenya.
Charity: water is a non-profit organization bringing clean, safe drinking water to people in developing countries. They use 100% of public donations to directly fund sustainable water solutions in areas of greatest need.

800 million people on the planet don’t have access to clean, safe drinking water. By buying this item, you will help make that number a little lower. This item can only be placed on your main farm and when you click on it, you will be reminded of how important water is for everyone.

The charity: water well gives you 250 EP and 10 water every 12 hours and it takes 1 square. You can buy this item multiple times and it is only place able on the main land and on the clouds. ​

To mark World Water Day on March 22nd, we’re raising money for charity: water from March 17th 2pm to the 30th at midnight to build a well in Kenya to help bring
water to some of the people who don’t have access to that basic human need. If we reach 20,000 American dollars, we’ll be able to fund an entire well!

After March 31st, the site will be updated to keep everyone informed about the progress of the project in Kenya, and every few months we will also inform you over the forums.
