    Well done on making the move @igotfrogs , I totally understand about the anxiety stuff, as a couple of years ago I wouldn't have been able to even think about going to Uni, due to my own personal mental health issues at the time; so I know how much this must mean to you, feeling confident enough to go for it! Keep taking those steps forward, no matter how small and the very best of luck to you for getting your full license.

    8) Oh, FROGS!! That is such major good news!! I admire your courage so much, and am so glad for your new found freedom! I agree with all the many heartfelt and wonderfully encouraging feelings that are sent your way....and add mine to them!!

    Thanks Very much everyone I'm still tickled pink .... every now and again i go to my wallet and look at it lol ....
    I should be going out for another drive today i hope ....
    Poor hubby taking two of us for lessons lol I don't think he's ever felt more wanted for his time before LOL .....

    You should check to see if there is someone who could legally modify a vehicle for you by changing the seat possibly? There should be a way to have it done. Check out someone who modifies vehicles for those with disabilities. There are cars modified for paraplegics that have all hand levers and no pedals if absolutely necessary. The car dealership may be able to help there. (That being said, I love my Toyota Prius and I'm not tall.)

    My son has a Toyota Echo 3 door .... Tiny little thing it is .... I love it when i get a car i'll get one along the same lines as that i think .... I'm only 4'8" and have short limbs BUT average sized torso lol .... I got a quote for some custom pedal extenders all i can say is ouch I was quoted between $980Aus to $1800Aus ... so at the moment it's wear a pair of thick soled shoes and i have some pedal pads in the mail i just hope that will do lol ....

    Froggie, That is great news! Congratulations. You will get more and more confident the more you drive. I am short also. I know some cars have motors that help me reach the petals. Happy driving!

    I've been loving it so far ....I've found a pair of thick soled shoes i have that help me reach the pedals better so more comfortable .... it's strange the things people take for granted like being able to reach pedals lol ...
