Zero Drops?

This is at least the 2nd time that I've received 0 drops when harvesting holly. Is this normal? Also, despite following all the advise on the strategy thread, I haven't received a single tree timer during the whole Waiting for Santa event (except the 1 given at the start). It seems like there may be a problem with my account?

There are many factors that go into how many drops you may get from a harvest such as number of plots used, length of harvest time, and any trophies or other buffs you have that increase the drop rate.

Players do report that the amount of fir timers is low but keep in mind that there are only 21 games so you many not need very many.

The drops only come from Trees on the Main field and Green Meadow. You only have a few trees on the Main field and some on the Green Meadow. The drop rate is very low, so unless you have long timed trees and many of them, the drop rate would be very low.
