    I have a question...

In the FAQ for how to post screenshots it is stated that we can add an image by uploading it. I have searched high and low for this upload button, but it is nowhere to be seen. Could you give directions?

    Hello -Mir85- !

Thank you for spotting this. Unfortunately, this feature was available in an older testing phase of the new forum. I will remove this part from the FAQ right now, I'm sorry for confusing you :-(.

I have set up an SOS thread and Guidelines for its use but I cannot work out how to edit my Guidelines to include the SOS thread link. Is it no longer possible to edit? 8)

You are most welcome, -Mir85-, and thank you for spotting it!

    Hello illy1996 :)

You will find the link of the post if you click on the bottom right corner of the post, the "#" followed by the post number. The Edit button should be found under your post, next to the Delete button.

    Did this help?

Thanks Teddy, found the edit button. I even found the smilies and got me a new Avitar too. I am getting used to the new Forum (albeit very slowly) and I am finding it quite user friendly. 8)

    Good morning

I want to bring here the diploma in recipes thread.
Where should I open this thread?

You're most welcome, illy1996 :) I'm happy to hear this!

    Good morning escalonilla :)

We are still waiting for the Strategy section to be clarified, because you should be able to open threads there. If you wish to post it sooner, you are welcomed to do so in the Game chit chat area, and I can move it once the situation is sorted out, or leave it there if this was intended. :-o We will have to wait and see, hopefully we will have an answer as soon as possible!

    Me again!

Just wondered if there is such a thing as a "sticky" or equivalent with the new Forum. It would be really appreciated if the Guidelines to using SOS thread could be a permanent feature so I only have to adjust it for the various new relevant threads.

Thanks for all your hard work, Mods. *Struggles under the weight of an incredibly large box of chocs and other goodies for the Mods*

    Hello again illy1996 :-(

I will eat the chocolates before answering cause you might want to take them back (uh oh!) Yes, there is a sticky function, but we will only use it for important announcements, no threads will be stickies anymore at players requests. If you check the old forum, there were way too many sticky threads in speaker's corner, so we don't want that to happen again, I'm sorry. We cannot say "yes" to someone and then refuse others. All the threads are important, that's why you, the players, post it. The SOS guidelines are just as important as the Diploma in recipes (just a random example, sorry escalonilla) or other relevant topics. I honestly do see your point of view and I sincerely hope you will understand mine as well.

No question, just wanted to say that it is great that the online/offline was moved so the user names are not broken up :)

It is always good to notice the changes for better and not just complain about changes for worse. While on the subject, the editor for posting is much more user friendly than the old one :)

PS. Was unsure whether to post here or in Feedback: Farmerama features

    Hello -Mir85- ! :)

Thanks for your Feedback! I will open a Feedback thread as well, as Neon kindly suggested early this morning but I forgot ... I've got lots of chocolate, but no coffee :p I'm happy to see you like the changes (I love seeing all the players online as well ^_^ Makes me happy seeing many players around).

No problem Teddy. I quite understand that if there are lots of stickies, it negates their use. You are welcome to the chockies. I think you Mods must be working your socks off with this new Forum - but I see lots of questions relating to how to do/find stuff and very little negaive feedback so I think the new Forum is doing great after just two days. Just my humble opinion. 8)

I like a lot this new version of the forum and I am still finding new things :).
Today I noticed the calendar and these dates that say about when will the events happen are sure or they can change any moment?

This is trivial, but I prefer to begin my week with Sunday. Any chance I could edit the Calendar to reflect such preference? Maybe under User Control Panel???

    :(:(:(

    Hello Arielh :)

The dates added to the Calendar are the ones of events that are certain, and announced officially. This is not the preview calendar so if changes are made, we are announced upfront (except when there are short delays - but those don't happen too often ;) ) So you can rely on the dates displayed in the calendar for sure.
    Hello Bhodho :)

I hope you're happy to see the link to FAQ in the calendar ;) We will forward the calendar settings suggestion as well, but I cannot promise you it's going to be implemented.

I had not checked the change, but it is still welcome. Hoping my other request gets a favourable response...
