Found the first pictures (source) for the 8th comic event

Event crops: Cube watermelons and cube pumpkins

Drop item: Coffee mugs

cuckoo stable, maybe winnable in the event

Event workshop: Mustachery produces mustaches need combs to build it.

Rumors are (source) this will be similar to the comic 6 event (FAQ & strategy) With a timed step where you need to collect EP/BEP from event crops. Then you can win combs to build a mustachery (event workshop). In the last step you can trade the event workshops in to get permanent cuckoo workshops producing fancy mustaches .

Event basket:

It is unclear if the cuckoos from the cuckoo stables are the same as the cuckoos we got during the cuckoo breeding events.


Stocking up on zucchini apple bread, carrot bread and easter marmalade or spring wreath is probably a good idea

 

Mir i would love this I've opened my Cuckoo rune .... but as yet not been able to use them ... not sure if i have to open anything else or not .... just have the 1st one on the tree of wisdom

 

I somehow doubt you will need the bee cuckoo for this event. But maybe it means that cuckoo breeding is coming back soon too

ah ok I thought you were talking about the other cuckoo rune but same goes for the wooly snouts

 

Oh no where is the other one! lol .....dang tree so hard to find stuff lol .....

Oh i just looked .... i have that one open already and one bee cuckoo in my barn lol

 

I have over 5000 cuckoos. Why do I need a permanent pen to raise them? (That's over 2000 PF to breed them resulting in 1000 colored cuckoos or more!)

 

As I said, it is unclear if they will be the "same" cuckoos

 

Darn.... that weekend was just the weekend I planned to take my hubby on a weekend getaway for his birthday.... I think I'll stick to that plan, though. Too bad, cause the event seems like fun. Oh well, maybe I'll be able to complete some of it during the rest of the event

Hope the cuckoo breeding does come back as I've loads of cuckoos in my barn and now I've got in to using the cloud rows I'd like to go after the cuckoo row and deccies. They look pretty funky too!!

oh wow hmmmm it goes to my birthday 3/31. ummm think need to stock up on powerfeed.

 

I wish I could be as optimistic as others about this event. This is my least favourite event, and I won't waste my power feed on it.
