From time to time I happen to get these comments in the Rumors thread.
Help me understand why please

I wrote a riddle (fun right!) for my forummates to guess a whole week ago. There was no problem with that, or you didn't see it at that time. Now, once the riddle is guessed, there is a problem? Doesn't make sense to me

Spoiled by making riddles? Seems quite the opposite.


Help me understand what rule I broke by posting google pictures of already guessed riddles.

From time to time we miss things as it is not possible to read every post Concerning your first rumor about the Wonder trees, there is no Official link posted to state where these rumors came from only a link to rumors about the stables Yes you posted pictures from google, but there was no Official link to where you got the Name of the rumored trees.
Does that help clear things up?

I heard that rumor in the wind. Doesn't that count?

Maybe it is time to change that rule and let players share rumors they find .
Those guidelines were created when many official fansites and oracles were around. Nowadays, that's not the case. There are barely 2 oracles sharing information.

I would like to keep posting rumors the wind blows my way.
And it was just the name of 2 trees. Come one! Not a big deal! And I even did it thru a riddle to keep our community entertained

Talk about it at tonight's mod cave reunion by the fire and let me know.

Unfortunatley, the wind is not an Official link
If the rumors were not posted on another Forum or Official site for you to link, they cannot be considered rumors, therefore whether or not you post them as a puzzle, the information is being shared without permission and we must presume they have come from an Unofficial site All rumors must include links to where you get the information and we appreciate that you will follow the Rules set out by BP.

It doesn't matter whether the rumors come from another forum/ fansite or through the wind.
In the end, we can listen to them because BP wants to. BP itself is the source.

I will comply with the rules.
But I don't agree with what here is considered unofficial, since BP itself releases that information to the www willingly.
