    Hey all,

I've got a question. I haven't sent any gifts today and I thought It would be nice to send a few gifts to people who've been very generous to me and how are not a neighbor of mine.
I was able to send a gift to one person, but when I selected the next, I couldn't sent a gift, while she is on my friends list and I've got 4 more free gifts to send. The button Gift is grayed out when I click on the person's name in my friends list.

Are we limited to sending only 1 gift to non-neighbors or is something wrong? I thought we could send 5 free gifts, period. No matter if it's to a neighbor or a friend, but perhaps I have that wrong?

    Thank you for your help!

It sounds like you were trying to send from the post office. You might have selected two names at the same time, then the button will be grayed out. Just try leaving the post office and go back :)

Okay, I'm back from work and tried it again. Since I had shut off my computer because I had go to work, I had to relog here. I could indeed send one other gift. Once the gift was send, the check mark before the name disappeared and the send gift button was green again, so I assume that means the friend isn't selected anymore. I clicked another friend and at that moment the Send gift button was grayed out again. I did have enough gifts left and no other name was selected (I checked that).

I had to close the post office and then re-entered the post office. Now I could send a gift to another friend again. Is that how it's supposed to work? Cause that's weird.... Having to leave the post office each time you've sent a gift to a friend and re-entering the post office again only to send a gift to another friend. It's not.... Userfriendly. At least not in my opinion.

    Thanks for the help.

Errr.... If I understand you correctly (sorry, may not be completely awake despite having been to work already :D) I should be able to send gifts multiple times from the Gift pop-up window? And... waht's NAB? Couldn't find that one in the Abbreviations FAQ :)

    Just to be sure:
    1. I can send gifts per neighbor fromt he neighbor bar (got that already, so just stating the obvious :D)
    2. I can send gifts to friends from the post office (Check into the post office -> go to the friends tab -> click on the check mark next to the friends name you want to gift -> click on the green "Send gift" button -> choose gift from the Gift window and send it)
    3. If I'm sending gifts from the post office, I can send only one per enter in the post office, so I have to re-enter the post office to send another gift?

If I can send gifts multiple times from the Gift pop-up window, how do I do that? Cause I think I'm overlooking something if I should be able to do that. (might be very obvious but I know myself enough to know I may sometimes overlook the obvious :D)

For today I've send the gifts by re-entering the post office as Mir suggested. I'll try it again tomorrow with clearing my browser and flash cache once I completely understand what I need to / can do.

    Thanks again for the help!

When you click on a gift in the gift pop up window, your entire list of Neighbours and Buddies (NABs) will appear.
    1. That is correct
    2. Click on the green 'send gifts' button the gift pop up will appear, when you click on a gift the Neighbours and Buddies list will show. This will let you send your daily gift quota without having to re enter the Post Office.
    3. It shouldn't work like that, which is why I have suggested you clear your caches and given you a workaround.

/* Coughs and thanks Intrepideur for the very strong coffee. Usually don't drink that but apparently I could use it */

    2. Right.... Apparently I completely missed this. I just clicked the check mark every time.... Okay, this is handy :D
    3. I'll be sure to do that tomorrow and try it again to see if that solves the initial problem, so that we can be sure there's no real problem there :) If there is, you want me to report that somewhere else, or do you want to keep this thread open and I'll let you know tomorrow if the initial problem is solved with clearing both caches?

  7. You are welcome :p

We will leave this open for you. Look forward to hearing if you have solved your problem.

Okay, I've tried it again. Cleared my Browser cache and Flash cache, but I still get the same issue: Once I've send the gift to the first friend (click check mark in front of the name in the friends tab list of the post office-> click the green "Send gift" button -> choose gift and send gift), I need to re-enter the post office to send another gift to a friend.

I haven't sent any other gifts yet, in case you want me to test something else :)

Thanks again for all the help!

  9. Thank you for the update ;)

    From the Post Office:
Click on the 'send gift' button first which will bring up your gift pop up.

Choose your gift which will bring up all your 'neighbours and buddies' pop up.

Click on the neighbour or buddy. That pop up will disappear but the gift pop up should still be open.

    Is this clearer?

That indeed does work. I guess I was still thinking wrong with first selecting the name from the friends list, before clicking the "send gift" button? I'm probably wired wrong :D
