BP needs to seriously work on their ratios of attempts to rewards. 60 tries without any new tree is ridiculous!!!!

 

Thanks for the sympathy. I'm hoping to pick up the missing trees somewhere along the line, although the Magellan didn't appear anywhere until this event. Always liked the train events until now. Even burned through some BBs speeding up the delivery - boy, don't I feel stupid.
On the positive side, my barn is clean.

The Investment of 2000 Exchange Value in addition to the loss of 60 total surplus generates two upgrades on the « elRe1 » territorial domain in Farmerama and is motivation enough to join the ‘Transeedlantic-Express’ discussion again as soon as the upcoming « Trans-Seedlantic Express » mini event begins (less than three months remain).

 

From the silver pots I got an xxl yew and an xl silverleaf. I should have guessed just because I paid twice much exchange value for goldpots, BP would not give me better trees..

 

I think we need to come up with a way to ask for some sort of separation of rewards, because long term players are annoyed with Brazil Nuts and Starfruits, but newer farms have not had the chance to get more than the one of these that is available via FSQ and thus are thrilled. So it should be something like, Pot A gives a chance for these seven older trees, plus XXL etc, Pot B gives a chance for these different seven new trees, plus XXL, and Pot C gives a chance for either a different seven, or all the possible trees etc, so that those of us who have 47 Starfruits and 59 Brazil Nuts can stay away from that Pot lol. I'll leave this in the hands of those who are good at writing suggestions. I do believe that our suggestions get listened to - not always implemented, but considered. This is one that would not threaten the bottom line and in fact would make more players happier, so win, win for everyone.

I am sorry about those who did not receive anything exciting. I do believe the algorithm that is used does, over time, play out fairly, but it's hard to see that when you are one of the ones catching all the bad outcomes so that others of us can experience the successes. Math is a tricky thing. And when you are using a calculation where one result does not rule out the same outcome in the next result, it can be very frustrating. I do wish they would have a smaller pool of possible outcomes - this would enhance the odds of a successful outcome each time. Maybe someone can come up with a good way to phrase that suggestion as well.

I'm sorry to hear results weren't very good for a lot of farmers. I've found for me, I seem to get better results if I save up a bunch of trees and put them out all at once. I tried a few small batches (both mainland and Baha) gold pots, with no luck on the new trees. I'm still fighting connection issues, so most of my train rides were done via Puffin, which is a major pain , but I did manage to get about 12-15 of each pot saved up, which I put out all at once. I too got several Brazil nut and star fruits, but managed to get 2 of the Alhuettes on Baha and 2 Judas trees on mainland , along with a pile of silver leaf trees, lol, and even got 1 each of the new mystery trees somehow . bearbabe didn't take many trips, and didn't get the new trees, but did get an XXL Magellan Beech, which I was happy with . Mini me didn't participate, not enough trees. Used up almost all my XLs, not sure what I'll do next time the train comes 'round.

 

i would have been happy to get a pile of silver leaf trees lol I didn't get any of the new trees on this farm and only 2 of the mainland new trees on my other farm

 

If you need silver leaf on any of your farms, Marly, let me know, I'll get one to you next G&T. (Glad your girl's doing better, couldn't get on to post but was able to read and was happy to hear she came thru beautifully )

 

On Baha I got a couple of xxl Salak Palm trees, 3 XXl Jujube trees, a XXl yangmei and few stray xxl banana, mango, of course a starfruit tree. I got one of the new mainland Judas tree. Nothing else worth mentioning on the mainland lots of xxl almonds and pine trees.
