Unity Problems

I couldn't log in normally, so I had to try, once again, to switch to unity. It finally opened, but the screen is way too small, it's very slow, some fields partly show over other fields.

As Announced here, when logging into the Game, Unity is the default client when logging into the Game. I cannot understand why your browser screen is too small? Even in Unity, the screen should be the same size as your browser. You can switch back to Flash for now using the link at the bottom of your Game Frame.

Have you dowloaded the Standalone Client perhaps? You can find info in the FAQ on how to zoom in.

Not yet, still half a day on Flash as default. So OP "normal" login was to Flash still.

 

Yes, it could be the standalone client. Is that the one that save a shortcut to the desktop?
It's the only way I can access farmarama at the moment, but it's very slow, I select a field to go and it will randomly start to load a different one, frequently merging two fields!, or just have the flowers whirling. I have enjoyed playing this game for years and am getting very frustrated with this "improvement".

 

Yes, the Standalone client does create a shortcut on the desktop. I'm sorry you are having these difficulties and understand that frustration. Depending on your computer's ability, you may see longer loading times. Have you checked to see that you have the minimum requirements needed to run the standalone client? Here is the FAQ that describes what you need.

Yes, my computer has the requirements needed to run the client. I am disappointed that I needed to download the client. I have been playing this game with no download neccessary for years. Why is one needed now? Will it be improved or is this it?

 

The Game Team are working very hard to ensure that Farmerama is playable into the Future. I am sure things will continue to improve and hope you will be able to play smoother on your browser again soon.
The Standalone Client is a alternate client for those that are having trouble playing with Unity. Until mid January, you can continue using Flash player if you are having difficulties playing on the other platforms.

I am unable to open Farmarama with Unity at all. The only reason that I tried the Standalone Client is that I couldn't log in as normal. Will the Standalone Client ever have a full screen. Zooming in is ok, but that doesn't change the fact that the window is far smaller than my laptop screen.

 

Have you tried using a different browser to log in? For now, you can choose to log in with Flashplayer. When you log into your farm, the link to revert to Flash is at the bottom right, underneath your Game Frame.

I am sure a frame will be added to the Standalone client in time.

I use Firefox, I have always used Firefox. I tried to choose flash on the frame, it didn't work! You might as close. Thanks

When you log into your game using your browser, you should see the option for switching to Flash:
