I am sorry, it is not possible to just resize the old banners. And, in this case, I cannot even get a 60high one out of the old one. The horse and sleigh alone are 80 pixels high.

I can make you something new though. Any wishes? As I have to start from nothing, you can choose whatever you want.

 

Hi Brooke, Here is my 2 cents. I like the 3rd one that Toekie made for you with the white lettering. My only suggestion would be to use green lettering. Like your pretty kitchen colors.

Toekie, I love what you have created so far - especially your avatar and Arelih's siggy. I cant decide what I want. I know I can't do my Peace signs any more since they are too big. Can you make me one that has small peace sign with bright colors with maybe Hummingbirds or butterflies or both.

 

I will continue with siggy making tomorrow and I will do my best

Congratulations on your new banner poor_didums, if you want it to be centered: Go to edit signature, click right next to the picture, then choose align center like shown here:

The quality isn't very good, but hopefully you can see where to click.

 

Guess I'll have to enjoy the old one with a mental picture lol. I would like something peaceful. Maybe a winter scene or some trees with a stream.

 

Toekie, Could you make me a new banner with a Bald Eagle (possibly in flight) perhaps with a Red White and Blue background?
Would also like my name and player number in the lower corners.

hi Toekie its saying windows file unable to open so i tried something else and this is what i am getting Upload Failed: Sig1_zps06400f9b (1).jpg~original

You can try the following: right click on the image that's displayed on this forum, and use "save image as..." That way you should also be able to save the image to your pc and be able to open it. If that doesn't work, then I'm really sorry, but I have no idea what else to try.

@blessedlady2, Sorry, I went a bit overboard. "peaceful" is what stuck with me... Hopefully there's one you like, or one I can adapt. Let me know!

Thanks Toekie! I have saved them to my computer And in the process I learned what went wrong for poor_didums

poor_didums: When you save the file, change the name to something like banner.jpg, the .jpg ending is the important thing. If you don't do anything it will be saved as a .jpg~original which is what causes the problem (at least for me). Hope this helps

Thank you for the compliments on my siggy's I really appreciate that. I must say, the smaller format makes it a lot harder!
I would prefer any siggy requests to be made here though, I hope you don't mind.I don't read my toekie mail that much, and then I'd have to go back and forth between different places to get the info I need. That is why this thread exists

So far, I've only been able to make one reasonable siggy with the avatar of your own cat.

I like the picture, but when I make it to size, It loses some of it's charm... It only looks nice on a dark background. It's up to you if you like this or not. (and if you like the letters etc... )

If not, I will make you a few other cat ones.
(tomorrow I think... got some real life to take care of today...
Please feel free to give more pointers. What colors would you like as background? Do you prefer black cats? or is red fine too? or grey? or all of them? kittens? adults? siamese? cartoon?

Doing something really cool, --> which I really love to do <--is suddenly very difficult with this size. It's now better to choose a powerful background and let that BE the picture, than to put something together. Occasionaly that is possible, but it really depends on the amount of detail needed! I'll go dig around in my old files, but I don't know if I still have everything I made for you. But that butterfly you use as avatar... I bet I still have those...

Hopefully I can get some more time making siggy's today somewhere....
